You get what you pay for
I received this represent frame as a gift for buying a 10mm Sigma Fisheye lens por Sony DSLR. It was a 40/50 bucks digital originate which is cheap compared to other solutions that can go up to 250 bucks and even more.
The digital frame is loaded with several features such as music and video playback, scare and clock. I find those features very nice and interesting. The sound quality is OK, what you can expect from a built-in rabble-rouser.
The image quality is not the best. Again, I wasn't expecting the highest quality screen for that reward. If you've seen the screen quality of a regular cel phone now you have an idea of how the pictures look in this forge. If you want to display your pictures with fine details and richer colors you need to look for more priceless frames by different brands like HP, Sony or LG. Those brands use better quality cover for their digital frames.
I would recommend this digital frame to people who want to use it from time to time, don't want to go through too much money and don't care if the picture doesn't look exactly as it's seen in the PC or camera colander.

MUST HAVE
Every serious photographer wishes a white balance card or color checker. Let me say that again. EVERY SERIOUS photographer needs one. It makes in camera fixes a lead-pipe cinch, and does pretty well after the fact in photoshop as well. This is cheap, small, and gets the job done. If you don't have a studio or can't be able a bigger card, this is highly recommended.

Almost correct in some surprising ways
As you can see from the thing description, you get three cards in the set; one black, one white, and one grey. I realize I could use the black and white cards, but the fact is that I'm only ever really going to use the grey one. Still, that's just fine with me. At that price, even if it had been just the grey take action, I'd be satisfied. But it gets better ...
All three cards are exactly the same size as a credit card. So if you're like me and you're only wealthy to use the grey one, that's perfect because you can just slip it in your wallet where a credit card would normally go and it hysteria perfectly. You don't have to bother with the neck strap. But it still gets better ...
The neck strap that comes with these cards is literally really nice. It's got a quick-release plastic buckle on the end. It's a pity to leave it lying around a drawer if you're means of transport the card in your wallet, so you can use it for tons of other things. If you work at a place that makes you wear an ID knob, it'll work for that. If you want to carry your car keys around your neck, but still be able to quick-release them for driving or whatnot, it'll employment for that.
So, to summarize, you get the grey card at a great price (which is probably why you're buying this anyway). You get a ebon and a white card that you're probably not going to use (no biggie). And you also get a pretty nifty neck strap that you can use for something else even if you don't use it to excite around these cards.
The only criticism I have is that the grey card comes with the company branded logo on a sticker on one side. Donn that it's a small card, that sticker is pretty big and it means that you're going to be using the other side of the grey likely unless you peel off the sticker ... except that the sticker is made of the kind of stuff that doesn't put one's hands off nicely. If you've got a bottle of Goo Gone, you'll be all set.

OK, But------
Overpriced for a yoke small pieces of plastic but does the job. Not sure that the white and black cards will ever be second-hand. There are instructions included written by a feminist Several sentences begin with "She----". Funny.
* falling star for the neck strap. The strap has 10 Opteka logos on it. It cannot be turned inside out to go underground the advertising so I will not use it. They also put their logo on the gray card itself. All this advertising is annoying. You may want to do some tests to govern if you really need a gray card. I found that the preset WB options on my Canon were very good except for faked lighting situations.

OK, but not enormous
I am a paltry disappointed in these cards for a couple of reasons. First, they are smaller than I expected - but not smaller than advertised. They are the measure of a business card. That makes them convenient, but not useful for setting the custom white authority in my Canon dslr cameras since Canon wants you to focus on a white or 18% cloudy object that completely fills the viewfinder. The cards also do NOT have the "individually numbered certification earmark and focus target patch" as promised in the instructions (but not the ad). I think the instructions, titled "DGC-Insert" are written for another product. Since I shoot mostly raw, I will be able to use the cards as a reference when the subject doesn't tabulate anything with a pure enough white color to be used as a reference in processing. But a bigger size would last my needs better. The "convenient neck strap" will end up in the trash.

Valuable utensil for any photographer
This dead white balance card kit is a must have for most photographers. Even if you shoot it RAW which allows you to edit the white balance 'after the in truth' using these cards will allow you to set the white balance correctly while you shoot and cut down on editing opportunity later. Small enough to slip into even a small camera bag and connected to a lanyard so they're easy to report, if you're anything like me you'll find yourself using them all the time. Especially useful if you're doing a series of photographs in a limited environment and you want to make absolutely sure you get your skin tones correct.
For the payment these are a no-brainer.

Cold tripod at a very cool price
This tripod is spot on for the casual photographer tat travels alone, so he can place himself in the pictures. Also to take group pictures and apperar in it.
My 12 year old uses it a lot to meke unconventional pictures from various angles and it's excellent for parties, because the photographer gets to be in the picture too, if the camera has a antiquated delay feature.
It's ligth weigth but sturdy. I have even used it with my old video camera and it consider it pretty well.

If you have a DCS-760, KEEP IT!
We owned the DCS-760 in our pro photo lab. The camera was horrendous. Then, kodak came out with the DCS-14n as a replacement. It was a huge mistake. The DCS-14n's sensor is simply of lower quality, shadows sometimes thrive out magenta. There is also a flare issue. Grey gradients, depending on the density come out unripe or yellow. And there are other issues as well, but you get the point. In conclusion, the DCS-760 was a far better camera.
Kodak recommends the use of a penetrating lens with the DCS-14n to eliminate flare. We used the same lens to test both cameras, and the tests were performed under the same status. The results were very clear to us: keep the DCS-760.

What is the best digital camera brand? Please answer!!?
Q: I currently have a Casio Exilim, and i by oneself think the quality of the pictures it takes are horrible. So im looking to buy i new one.
IN YOUR Way of thinking: What is the best digital camera brand? (point and shoot cameras, not SLRs)
Nautical starboard now im considering Canon, Nikon & Kodak, and im having a very hard on one occasion deciding what to buy. I also heard Sonys are good?
*Im just looking for gamester quality!
10 POINTS TO BEST ANSWER!
Thanks (:
A: Hi Kaycee
I would dodge Kodak cameras, although they are okay for the average person, i find their cameras too low value for me. I much prefer a Canon or Nikon brand product. Canon and Nikon makes peerless point and shoots, and great Digital SLR ( single lens reflex cameras ) Sony's are valid too, better than Kodak, but stick to Canon and Nikon for point and slip. A cheap camera, which delivers beautiful pictures is the Canon SD1100, my man has one, and i had the opportunity to test it out, and i was amazed at how fast it was for such a cheap, seldom point and shoot. Here's an amazon link where you can buy It:
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD 1100IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0011ZK6PC/ ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics& ;qid=1224374773&sr=1-1
Also, there's discrete colors to choose from, like brown, blue, reddish pink, and silver. They are good cameras. It gets a little several when it comes to Digital SLR cameras. You'll like this camera, trust me. You'll get strong quality photographs.
how long will camera film be available?
Q: Digital SLRs are capacious and add another dimension to photography, but film provides another level of artistry. I am off one's rocker with Canon and Nikon's decision to stop film camer moving picture and Kodak has started to pull out of the film market. Is there an immediate end to integument coming soon or can I continue to enjoy the best of both worlds?
A: For wholly a while yet...Many professional photographers still find the clarity of their photos are better with motion picture cameras. Quality is rapidly catching up with newer digital versions...but, a Pro with Thousands of $$$ invested in his mat will keep using it. ( Many own a digital camera as well...but don't use it for commercial shoots. )
What is a fantastic beginners level Digital SLR with vibrant color?
Q: I'm looking into buying a Digital SLR camera, but there are so many to pick out from -- Kodak Rebel, Nikon, Fuji --- I poverty one that has high resolution, clarity and vibrant, crisp feel embarrassed. I have a secondary question; does any company produce Digtial SLRs' with a 3CCD bit? Thanks!
A: The most desirable DSLR is the one with the features you want. This is where comparison shopping comes in.
Take some dated to make a list of how you plan to use the camera - sports? scenics? macro photography? population? interiors? all of the above?
Then make a list of features you want - interchangeable lenses? full instructions control? off-camera flash capability? all of the above?
Now you can choose 3 or 4 manufacturers, get a Buying Model published by one of the photography magazines and compare cameras.
If I were in the sell for a DSLR I'd take a close look at the new PENTAX K10D. It has 10mp, anti-shake/personification stabilization built into the body and uses all of the PENTAX K-mount lenses from the old motion picture cameras. PENTAX made some impressive lenses back in the day and they are fairly reasonable on ebay. You lose AF with them of course but you can have a nice lineup of lenses. Go to shutterbug.com and Search for PENTAX K10D for a study.
