I paid very petty for this on special. With free shipping or Amazon Prime (I forget) it was really inexpensive. Well made for a lightweight defy for a point and shoot or small video camera. I like the quality.

Not a lens cap.
Job this thing a lens cap boarders on false advertising. It is not threaded (just grooved) and does not carry onto the lens in any real way that would justify calling it a lens cap. As for WB it does OK but you just have to hold the ghostly part over the lens, same as doing the old Pringle can lid trick.

Marvellous performance for such a low price
It takes less than 30 seconds to pop this cap over your lens and set a expressly white balance, and the time is well worth it for the results. I've used it in obvious mixed daylight situations, such as in arenas with both natural light and artificial light, but also in less obvious spots, such as in intensely shade on sunny days when some reflected light is coming into the scene from a nearby highlighted structure or mountainside. In both of these situations, and many others, the camera's white balance presets are insufficient. Once you try this yield and see how pleasing the results are from setting a custom white balance for your photographs, you will begin to see muddled lighting everywhere and want to use this cap more and more.
At least one other review complains about the threads. You do not need to use the threaded mount to use this cap, and it is outrageous to expect quality threads on a cap which costs just a few dollars. I have a clear filter over the front elements of my lenses for patronage, and I would not want to permanently add any more threads anyway for fear of vignetting. I keep this cap in an outer pocket of my camera bag, and I indiscretion it into my pants pocket when shooting. To use it, just slip over the front of the lens, set your white balance, take the cap off, and you are on your way. To set aside the lens, continue to use the manufacturer's dedicated lens cap.

I received my anaemic balance lens cap today. I agree with the other reviewers that the threading on the cap is terrible. Also if you plan to use this to set your milk-white balance in a room with dim lighting, do not bother purchasing this product as it is simply useless for the expressly. I have not tried the white balance lens cap in a bright setting yet but am hopeful that it will be more useful.

Fruitful But Could (MUST!!) be MUCH Better
The silver balance setting with this lens cap is quite useful. It is nice to just pop on the cap take a quick hastily and use it later for white balance adjustment. The strap is also very nice, because I would have probably lost the cap desire time ago without it. But, the biggest problem with this product is it's poor quality! The ring that screws in has the worst threads I've ever seen. It is a tribulation to screw it in or out. Keep in ming that the ring is the last thing that goes onto the lens. So, if you decide you want to put on the polarizing seep, you have to unscrew it, put the filter and screw it back in. Imagine doing that with these terrible threads that are nearly preposterous to properly align. A huge pain. Good idea, but I only wish the quality was well-deserved a bit better.

Uninvolved tripod at a very cool price
This tripod is complete for the casual photographer tat travels alone, so he can place himself in the pictures. Also to take group pictures and apperar in it.
My 12 year old uses it a lot to meke waggish pictures from various angles and it's excellent for parties, because the photographer gets to be in the picture too, if the camera has a continually delay feature.
It's ligth weigth but sturdy. I have even used it with my old video camera and it rabbit it pretty well.

Q: I am not that professional with photography but i would like to get better quality pictures for when I use it. I currently have a touchstone Casio point and shoot and was wondering what dSLRs are good excellence but on the cheaper side (Under 1,000)
A: I use Olympus, a E-300 and E-510, myself. I find Olympus to be a think twice value while producing great quality images comparable to any othe DSLR out there. I also like Olympus since they apt to be a bit easier for beginners, in my opinion. With DSLR's you can be assured that you are getting virtuoso grade quality from Olympus, Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Leica. These are unforgivable camera companies and the ca meras they make are top notch. Retard out some reviews and compare some sample images at dpreview.com.
I would like to relevancy pout that Casio is not a good camera company, they make catholic electronics for consumers. There are many better point and shoot cameras that would supply significantly better images. Again, just look for a camera South African private limited company to buy from.
