Skilful Big Little Camera
I'm on my instant SL400 in 5 years, and I love this camera! My first one 'disappeared' during a concert after having served steadfastly for 2 years. I even took pictures of a fireworks display while on a business trip. Found out a 256M come clean could only hold 222 picture-after-picture shots (took 2 batteries to do this). I have a 1GB slated in my present SL400R, and I always have extra batteries with me. Due to its fast power up, I've been able to capture some of those 'Kodak prominence' photos I would otherwise have missed (much to our secretary's dismay). I carry it everywhere, and there's always someone who marvels at the rotating lens. They in reality are impressed when I show them you can turn the lens the other way, it 'flips' the image, and you correctly see what you are shooting when doing a 'self pix'!
Having the camera conveniently in my shirt palm while no one knows it's there has to be the best feature, followed closely by the quick power on. I have 4 family members who now have this camera. They like it's instant and shoot ease, as well as the convenience of this small, yet powerful camera.

mobile issues
I've had tons of fun with my 'spy' cam but am putting it out to pasturage because of the battery situation. Worked well the first half year, then before the warranty expired I sent it in, they didn't get something off one's chest me what they did, it improved and then returned to the same problem even after I bought a new battery. I don't get many photos or much play with photo judge and zoom before the battery gets sucked down to nothing.

An Affordable Digital Camera for All Occassions.
I've had this camera for over a year now (purchased from Trannie Shack for $235) and have loved the compact portability, features, and picture quality. Positive its picture quality cannot compare with my film camera, a Minolta XD11 (SLR purchased in 1978) with several intercahngable lens, but what digital camera can? I wanted a digital camera that I could put in my centre and not worry about - not my usual semi-pro 230 mm focal length behemoth (camera with telephot lens) fashionable from my neck and requiring a trip to the local film processor. On the golf course, hiking the plant, around the yard, at family reunions, parties, special events, this little wonder can be pulled out of a jacket or pants centre, powered up and the photo captured before anyone knows you have a camera in hand. When taking pictures of my sons operation track, I found the rapid fire picture taking especially useful - capturing every nuance of one son soaring over the piercing jump. Picture quality, although not as good as a film camera, matches some 6 and 8 Megapixel cameras. I recognize this because some pictures, taken of events where such other digital cameras are used, were selected superior and used by the residents who took photographs using the other cameras. The icing on the cake is that I carried the camera with me in my shirt thieve - and no one knew it. If you want a camera that is easy to use (don't even have to read the manual) and carry, this is the one.

Kyocera Finecam SL400R
This is the most advantageous camera I have ever used. The expanded memory card I bought allows me to take a ton of pictures (over 100). The only obstreperous I ever encountered was the original battery has no life longevity. I am in the market for a new battery. It has been 2.5 years since my get, and I guess that batteries don't last forever anyways!!
I have had "Wow"'s every time I pull this camera out of a pocket of my slacks. People are amazed at the size, design, and picture quality. I think with better publicity, this camera could have been HUGE!!!

Dam complaining !
Hey, populace ! This is a compact camera with a tiny lens , so picture quality will not be the best no matter what .Still, in my perception it beats some cameras with picture and movie quality. The price you are paying is the price of comfort of having this Lilliputian device in your pocket all the time.
The battery life seemed short for first few charges but now it is OK. Why don't you all complainers get an off supermarket battery and charger for around $20 (for both) and stop whining.
This camera has the best features/settings I've seen in a condensed camera (this is my 5th digital camera). If you cut a window in the case, you don't even have to take it out of the case to shoot a picture .

Opportune replacement battery
After the first several charges, this freestyle works as well as the OEM batteries. It seems to be made to fairly high standards--it certainly looks better than the prior no-name replacement battery I got (for half the price) that came with a paper label and only lasted a yoke months.
The real test will be how long it takes for the memory effect to kick in irreversibly and along the battery unusable.

Does anyone know how to fix my camera on my Kyocera KX16?
Q: I was fetching a lot of pictures at once with my Kyocera KX16 camera but when i tried to look at the pictures it said ifo no pictures saved after i saved everyone. So then I went to my media terrace and then camera pictures and it has a picture cut in half with a question attain distinction on it. Does anyone know how to get that off so i can start taking pictures with it again and be qualified to save them? Oh and all of my other pictures from a long time ago are gone.
