kodak z915Bought this camera after doing some experiment with. First digital camera ever owned besides my cell phone. Love all the features, although don't know how to use some because nothing but not that camera savvy. Have used it to do some pics & videos around the house, but the big event is at end of March. Passion how clear the pics have come out, video is slightly choppy but not bad for not being a video camera. Bonus was awesome!! Speed of delivery was great, had within a week of order!
Above and Beyond
The discharge and ease of use of this camera is by far above and beyond expectations. If you shopped around for prices like I did then you found the differences to be around $60-$100. The swinging of prices caused me concern. I thought the quality might be questionable if prices could flex like that. But the reviews I comprehend caused me to be curious enough to try it. I love it. It's not a $600 camera but it'll perform better than any other camera at this expenditure point. We just had our third child and I've put it through the ringer. I would recommend looking over the manual though. This camera is a start up for me and even though it is basically a point and shoot camera to really get some awesome effects and quality there is some tweaking and steps to take that reading will staff with. I know this isn't the perfect camera, exspecially for the professional photographer. But for a father of three that just takes one's nearest and vacation photos it's great. The 10x zoom, 10 megapixels, and speed between snaps is significant. It's a bit bigger than my last camera but it comes with a lot more options and still fits easily in cargo pants side pockets. I would enthusiastically recommend it. Oh...and my wife would like me to mention the reading the manual thing again. Something about reading when first getting the camera not when annoying to take that precious moment shot when time is of the essence. Something like that.
Unprofessional QUALITY
Bought the Z915 for vacation in Mexico. It lasted 5 time and then the screen turned white and I couldn't review or take any photos. Normal use of the camera, no banging it around or tumbling it. Just don't think the Quality is there.

Flush saturation is very good, especially in P or M mode with exposure control set to negative values. Leisurely to see how your picture will look using viewfinder.Takes great pictures in low light, uncommonly using tripod. See review at YouTube.
the batteries are a p.i.a.
IMHO, get the Kodak-Z950.
I've had this camera about a month. It comes with alkaline batteries that harm out much too fast. So I started using rechargeable NiMh/2500mAH. Used the camera for about 15 pics and a 2 two shakes of a lamb's tail log movie,xfered pics, put it away, Next day took a few pics, then to baby shower, and the batteries were paralysed. So three times I have picked up the camera, and after minimal use, the batteries are almost dead.
The on/off button and selection annulus are easy to use a big plus. I bought this to replace a dx7440 that broke. My biggest complaint about that was the on/off singling out wheel...that's what finally broke. However, the battery pack was awesome on the dx7440.
I haven't tried the Z950, but it looks like the same hunger lasting battery pack idea that the old dx-cameras had.

Ordinarily photo quality but auto focus has issuesI recently purchases this camera after my old Canon A95 died. The carbon copy quality is better than I expected. It starts up quick and has a decent lag time between shots. Assumed the $100 price tag, I really shouldn't have any complaints. Regardless, the 'clicking noises' caused by the camera's vehicle focus constantly adjusting the position of the stepper motor that drives the lens is frustrating. Annoying to the point that I wish I'd spent twice as much on different camera that had similar photo je sais quoi. One of my friends has a Canon A1100 that has similar performance but is quiet as a mouse. With the number of micro steps the sports car focus directs the stepper motor to take, I'd be surprised if this camera lasts more than two years.

Fondness this camera! The picture quality is amazing, up close photos turn out crisp and sparkling. Smart Capture setting auto adjusts photo lighting, exposure etc. to give you the most take a run-out powder a eliminate photos for your surroundings automatically! This camera is super easy to use even the manual is easy to use, 5-7 pages of everything you fundamental to know about this camera with troubleshooting pages/tips at the end. An in camera HELP button also makes using this camera moderate! The camera has the LI ION battery which makes the camera A LOT lighter, you really notice how bulky and laden a double AA battery camera is once you start using this one, not only does it relieve the weight but not having to transform batteries every so often while shooting pics at an event or parade and missing that one great shot is amazing. The battery that came with it has yet to die on me yet but I am going to go ahead and buy another just in case, just found one only $13 name brand new! I used to be against Kodak cameras but this M341 has changed my mind!

Profound Camera
We received this Camera very self-indulgent. It was easy to use and made great pictures. The 12.1 MP really makes a difference in quality.
Large budget digital
I was bothered by of hauling around a D200 Nikon. I get great results from it, but it can't shoot video or fit in my pocket.
I picked up one of these Kodak jobs and was on cloud nine. It had a really good macro, shoots nice video, and has all the stuff I need except for an SD carte de visite. You will have to buy one since the camera has limited memory. But it can take up to a 32 gig card. Amazing. The battery seems to have lots of extract too, which is always a problem for small compact cameras. The colors from the software are good. I hate having to photoshop images, and this has a agreeable color balance. Good flash too.

Sending this back is a lavishness of money due to the cost of shipping. 3/5/10 Update; Amazon read this review and have since replaced this proves with another case that fits the camera.

I was searching for the unequalled replacement camera b/c I had accidently dropped mine. I knew I wanted to go with a Kodak camera but there are so many versions. What did I do? I ordered a few that received kind-hearted reviews and tried them out for myself. Needless to say, this one was a keeper! The pictures are clear and the lighting gets it freedom everytime! Those were the two things I was looking for, clarity and proper exposure. And with this camera you get both! The amazing point also was the price! Turns out, this camera was the least expensive out of all the others that I have tried and returned. Go figure!!!

I purchased two of these camera(s) for my (9) and (10) year old for Christmas and they relish them. I can't believe the beautiful pictures this inexpensive camera takes indoors and out. The video status isn't horrible, but I have seen much better...plus there is no sound when you play back your video on the camera. However, enunciate is captured so when you transfer your pictures and videos to the computer, there is sound during play back. The 3.0" LCD screen is georgous, and allows you to see the be fulfilled image quality immediately. Plus the camera runs off of AA batteries which is completely serviceable....purchase with confidence.
