Giant Camera! 5 Stars!
I can't beleive the residents who had bad luck with the screen errors or zoom. The best thing to do is make sure to get a 3 Year Warrentee from Exact Trade. I paid 13.99 for a camera that was $99.95. Peace of mind. If I have a problem, it will be infatuated care of.
The Camera itself is a great little very portable camera that takes clear pictures. I have it set on 16x9 so I can judge them on my HDTV. I have taken several pictures with and without flash. Macro works well as it does focus automaticly on that stage set if you want. Best Shot, ( BS ) is what I use for macro pics and magazine setting. I took some pictures of tickets to dispose of on Ebay and they came out clear and readable. No issues with this camera so far and for the price, it is one of the best I've seen. Played with it in the shop first and picture to picture is faster than the Kodak I tried. about 2 seconds, not 5 to 8 seconds. The flash pictures are a not enough bright but can be adjusted to your liking. Easy to travel with even after it is in a case. I take it everywhere I go!

I'm apologetic but ... Casio sucks
Although in the all-inclusive scheme of things not a big deal, this just ticks me off. I just twittered this out. I really entertain the idea I will hang it on a flower hangar or something out in my yard.
DON'T BUY CASIO PRODUCTS!!! I bought a digital cam for Cindi in Decemeber. Euphemistic pre-owned it for taking pics of her jewelry ... LENS ERROR . DON'T BUY CASIO PRODUCTS!!! They accused us of negative it!!! by dropping ... UNTRUE ... I will hang it in my front lawn as a monument to ...
DON'T BUY CASIO PRODUCTS!!! corporate close-fistedness. Thanks CASIO for calling me a LIAR!!! The camera could not have been jostled in some manner ..
DON'T BUY CASIO PRODUCTS!!! ... from the manufacturing position and it just FAILED!!! Never again CASIO!!!
While it was in working mode, it was a very good, fast camera. Too bad the retinue won't stand behind it.

Excellent little camera
This has to be my most appropriate camera ever. I carry it everywhere in my computer case (small enough), and it takes great pictures. The high hurry feature works great (still and video). I am amazed at the versatility of this camera at this evaluate and it is so much fun. The fact that I can take photos in low light conditions without using the flash makes it so versatile for me. I underwrite this camera to everybody!

Exceptional for high speed, bad for stills
I bought this because I had an exilim that I loved a few years back.
This camera's shop is a little flimsy (although it's pretty light, especially considering the amount of kit they squeezed into it) and still photos didn't actually impress me. I wound up returning it for a Lumix DMC-ZS3 that I love.
Other comments about the casio:
It can effectively take a multiple revealing, which is cool, but the tech still isn't quite good enough to mimic film, so if you don't have the right conditions, the multiple revealing looks a lot like a digital camera failing to mimic film... about chunky bytes that don't look anything close to what you saw when you took the picture.
It has some great settings where you can set it to on impulse start shooting high speed video as soon as the subject (i.e. a bird) enters the box in, and it has a button that temporarily records a few seconds of whatever the lens is picking up, then plays it back to you in slow motion so you can around the shutter at the optimal point. These features are great for nature photography or if you find yourself taking photos of, say, a dolphin doing tricks at seaworld, but in the component I bought, the still photo quality was poor, which was a deal-breaker for me.

Awesome Little Camera
This is a well-constructed, second-sighted, fun camera. If all it did was slo-mo, it would be worth 250 bucks. But it does a lot more. No, it's not DSLR quality pics, but it's not $1200, either. My 70 year old materfamilias would have no use for it, because it has too many bells and whistles. But if you're a bit of a gadget nut, you'll enjoy the heck out of this camera. My favorite feature is switching between 30 and 310 FPS on the fly; you can as though some compelling videos which people really seem to enjoy watching. There's a new model coming out in April/May, and I'll undoubtedly get that one too. It'll be 10x zoom instead of 5x, and 10MP instead of 9. It's gonna be $100 more. But there's nothing wrong with this one, if you can't wait.

Titanic if you intent to use it for a toy.
This is a gargantuan toy camera. Great for those of use with big shooters that needed a neat little toy. Some of the shots this thing has pulled off are extraordinary. The IS is subpar and the picture quality is pretty bad, but that isn't this camera's forte. The high speed capabilities of this fetish are amazing. A few months back I had my big canon out at the NHRA nationals but was getting miffed at missing the get going shot. I wanted the perfect shot seeing the sidewall buckle at 8000+ horsepower of top kindling madness. But I missed it every time even with 3.5FPS, I'd either blur it from too small of F and too slow of shutter, or well-founded flat out miss the shot. I thought for a second and whipped my little toy out putting it at 30 fps 15 before and 15 after gather and guess what? Time and time again I got the perfect shot that I was looking for. Yes it is grainy, and yes the IS is really bad, but seeing about 12 frames of the boat was simply amazing. I then noticed a helicopter coming in and set it to 30-210fps high speed video and took a matchless video of the bird coming in. It was so fast that not only was the main rotor slowed enough to see, but even the tail rotor was caught in act. I took another video of a moutain dew bottle as one of the cars came by and it was awesome to see the liquid dancing from the vibrations of from the top sustain monsters.
Please do not think of this in terms of megapixels, while it may have 9.1mp active if you want the IS to work well you set it at 6. If you hunger the high speed you set it at 6. Even at 9mp my ancient Canon 6mp 300d could outshoot this thing in terms of calibre(I have a T1i these days), but that's not what this camera is about.
If you want a tiny camera look elsewhere. If you want a great shooter, then look elsewhere. If you longing a fun camera that you can throw in your pocket that takes reasonable pictures while being a tad porky, then this is for you.
Personally I devotion it!

The best ratio of portability to versatility
I was open-mouthed at the abilities of this camera--it is small enough to be considered compact, but powerfull enough to be considered a super-zoom too. when i jam the pictures on to my computer, they are displayed at only 20% of the original size!! that means that these pictures are of amazing excellence! i love it! --the only thing i would have to go on about is that you need a steady hand to get that perfect picture; but a unpretentious tripod fixes that easly.-- but even that can be a gain for those who like to mess with the pictures--only just swerve the camera while shooting a pic and you have an unfathomable blend of color and texture for those who like experimenting!! Entire_ exelente, small, powerfull, versatile, and low in cost. Enjoy!

Shutter lag is a big imbroglio .......
I have tempered to this camera for 2 months. i don't like it that much because of the shutter lag -- you have to wait for appro. 15 sec. for it to deliver your pictue before you can take the next one. Is it because I am not using a fast memory card or I have chosen the wrong image make an estimate of? I don't know. Also, zooming is not easy because a little force will yield too much zoom or too little zoom. I shelter't developed the images yet, so the quality I rated it 3 stars is by looking on a PC screen. The camera is on its last legs because of its small size. Luckily the Image Stabilization function corrected it well. I would prefer Canon G series better than this one, although it is more high-priced and bulky. I would not recommend this poduct because of the shutter lag!!!!!

My Casio EX-H10 Camera
I girlfriend my Casio. It was easy for me to use because this is my third Casio. My first was the EX-Z40 which is 4 megapixels. The second was the EX-Z1050 which is 10 megapixels. With every upgrade I am amazed at the rest for the better the pictures are. I just have to get used to the wide angle the EX-H10 has and the camera is a little bigger than the first two casios I have. I like the slim cameras because I like to take my camera almost everywhere I go and it's easygoing for me to just slip it in my purse or in my pocket if I have to. So I was kind of disappointed at first, with the camera being bigger than my first 2 casios. But I have since gotten over the fizzle with the great pictures that I have taken. And the movies are of incredible quality for this size of a camera. Righteous remember to use the wrist strap every time you use your camera, I dropped my second camera and impoverished the little gadget that holds the battery in and that's why I ended up buying a third camera. But I sent that one to the Occasion Machine in California and they did a good job fixing it. I actually bought the Samsung SL820 first, as my third camera and was looking encourage to using the low light stabilization that it had because I like to take pictures using natural light. But as I was getting hand-me-down to this camera and trying out all the features and different settings it suddenly went blank and I wasn't even skilful to turn the camera off I ended up sending it back. I think this may have happened because I didn't format the homage card first. It's important to format the memory card in your camera before you use the camera and memory be honest for the first time. I ended up getting the Casio EX-H10 instead. And I am trying to use natural light settings with this camera, but they sometimes befall out blurry. But I haven't read the whole manual yet and there are alot of different settings so I know I am missing something here. Also I like to take pictures of prog that I make because I am writing a cookbook and I noticed that the macro setting does not come out as defray as my Casio EX-Z1050 did. Again I have to read the manual and find out what I am doing wrong. It may have something to do with the wide angle. Because I notice that my non subsistence pictures actually come out sharper and nice when I zoom in on a subject. The 10x Optical Zoom on this camera is dazzling. And I love using the zoom for my pictures. I'm getting used to the 24mm Wide Angle, and at first I was hoping there was a milieu to change it to regular size. I think for my uses I could have used the option of changing from 24mm Not on target Angle to just normal setting especially for my food pictures. So I wish they would have installed an opportunity to do this. But sometimes the wide angle benefits my food pictures as well. I think it is up to me to learn all the features and settings of this camera and I will be satisfied with all my pictures! The rush is amazing with this camera when I do have to use the flash. The flash on the EZ-Z1050 was the only lousy thing about that camera. And for me prefering to use normal light. I usually take a picture with natural light and then with flash. And alot of times the pictures with glimmer on the EX-H10 are outstanding. Especially the pictures of food for my cookbook, and that I can't understand because the EX-Z1050 took remaining natural light pictures of my food. But I really love this camera even though I haven't even skim and used all the features yet!

For The fee it is hard to beat
I researched Digital Cameras online for 2 weeks. If you necessity a camera that shoots fast (up to 40 frames a second), great zoom, fine fantastic build quality, great picture quality and a decent price....Look no further. 1st I am astonished at the 40 frames per second out door shooting which is great for kids sporting events or even pirate with a golf swing. It will even shoot up to 15 frames a second I believe indoors when having a show on. Tons of specialty shooting selections to choose from. It takes great video in 640 and gem clear 720 HD video. I would recomend a 16 gig card to take care of all your HD video requests. I found myself starting to use the 640 setting more because the quality is good and uses less space. So far I have had it for 3 months and not a gripe about this camera. For $300 on Amazon it is tough to beat.

Total, a great point and shoot camera
Ok, so I upon by saying I know almost nothing about photography. I am a neophyte who started taking pictures in December 2009 (when I bought this camera). But I acquaint someone with something you, between the Casio Exilim EX-FH20 9.1 MP Digital Camera with 20x Optical Zoom and 3-Inch LCD (Black) and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, there doesn't seem to be anything I cannot do, and have a lot of fun doing it.
The 40 FPS bursts let me apprehension things I could never get one frame at a time. I've only used the video a little, so I cannot speak to it, other than what I used it for worked. The Most superbly Shot functionality means I can take really good pictures on the proper settings and not have any understanding what those settings are or mean. Additionally, I have pretty much complete control over all of the settings if I go into manual condition. I can also shoot in RAW if I want.
I agree that there can be a lot of noise in the higher ISO ranges, but PSE8 can remove that. My experience with the battery-operated life is that it's pretty darn good. I bought some rechargeable AA batteries, and always have some fresh ones in my envelope.
You can see a lot of the images I've taken with this camera at [spmoran dot photoshop dot com]. Note that they were all run through PSE8, but for a fellow that's been taking pictures for all of six weeks, they are a testament to this camera. Have!

On a trip Speed Insight
I bought this camera for the record speed function. The high speed works fine, but as the fps increases, the picture appraise elongates horizontally and shrinks vertically. How many high speed things do I want to vision from chest-height to knee-height?? Not very practical. Now I have to return it for a camera with high expedite that will actually capture within a normal viewing parameter. Check the aspect ratio of the altered consciousness speed prior to purchasing to be sure this is what you want... definitely not what I was looking for.

Pathetic Slow Mo Res
Well, I bought this for the leading speed video, however, the image quality (resolution focus graininess etc) of slo-mo video is substandard. What they're dispiriting to do for this consumer-level camera is great, it's just not ready for this consumer. I sent it back. Enrol the resolutions for filming carefully before you decide to buy. Hope Casio works this out in a couple years. When the form quality gets good, I will buy their product.

Better than I'd hoped!
I've wanted a steep speed camera for stop-action for some time. I read up on the 60 FPS Casio at $1000 and then found this one. At $320, it's a screaming count on.
Here are some of the good points, for a "normal" camera:
26mm-520mm lens. Covers everything.
AA batteries. Never have a disused camera.
Easy-to-use menus and controls. Very intuitive and easy to learn.
Feels substantial in the hands, and easy to carry.
Easy to remove and replace SD card and/or batteries.
Lens cap stays on with approximate service.
But that's not why I bought this thing...
40 FPS stills!!! 5 FPS FLASH stills for TEN pictures!!! Do you have ANY thought what that means for CANDID photos, let alone action shots?
1/40,000 sec. shutter in continuous mode, ISO 200 in propitious sunlight. This camera will stop action better than ones costing twenty times as much.
In the three time I've owned it I've not even TRIED the video yet, I'm so taken with the high speed burst mode.
Imagine quality:
I'm no camera junkie that nitpicks over every iota of corner distortion or what-have-you; if I take a picture of something captivating (race car sliding into a corner, snowboarder jumping a house, fireworks exploding, musical girl flashing in public) and it makes the viewer go "WOW!" when printed at 13x19 or smaller, then I'm happy.
This camera does THAT improve than any I've ever used.
Can't think of a time I've been more satisfied with a consumer product.
1/25/2010 Update:
Tinkering with the a variety of settings has resulted in even more respect for this camera. Night Mode Best Shot has given Huge hand-held night pictures with no flash.
Playing with different Manual settings have foreordained great fireworks shots, better even than the FIREWORKS Best Shot mode.
30-210 FPS Video procedure is great outdoors.
40 FPS Still shooting on a tripod gives great recoil studies in my gun classes. When the skies plain I'm going to set the shutter at 1/40,000 of a second and try to catch a bullet coming from the barrel. I judge devise I'll be able to do it.
I'm going to buy the FH25 when it comes out as it has better low-light capabilities as well as a 30-120 FPS setting that will be very helpful including indoors.
Way to go Casio!

The Casio has officially been dubbed “dad’s camera”.
Besides being a uncontrived-to-use camera, my bridegroom deep down enjoys some of the A-OK features on the camera. One of these is the Eager Photo r. With this, you can link still shots to spawn a pathetic photo. This is lenient to do and does not make using any computer editing. My quiet took a illustration of Alex playing in a “rival bus” and then took another still marksman of the bus after Alex had run to another place. The camera impulsively turned the 2 pictures into a exciting envisage of Alex driving the bus. The other chance my repress loves on the camera is the HD Film r. does anyone know if casio cameras work good during concerts?
Q: i have a Casio EX-Z9 8.1MP Digital Camera and i wanted to take it to a recitation ....i wanted to know how good the sound is during the narration.
A: It won't be that grand. No point and shoot cameras will ever come out great at concerts because of the lighting. Videos and pictures won't get out that well. To have great pictures you would need a digital SLR. Unfortunately dSLR cannot take videos, they can only take pictures and start from $500 and up.
Are there any casio cameras with black and white mode?
Q: I have been searching for one by casio and planning I found one at one point, but now can't find it again. What is a specific camera with this mode?
A: go to casiousa.com to find out
