If you ask me,the one I bought was rubbish.A waste of money.Take my advice and use a regular digital camera to view your pictures with. The Bushnell viewer that I bought would not position my sd card pictures and also caused me to loose my pictures that were on the sd card.I have nener been a fan of Bushnell anyway.SHOULD HAVE KNOWN Change one's mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    not a camera
this is not a camera and on the container it clearly says viewer. but i thought it was a camera
    Extremely Disappointed!
I surmise it is somewhat my fault but I thought that this was an actual camera with a built in viewer! The title should be distorted to camera viewer! I was trying to purchase this quickly so my husband didn't see me (it was a Christmas bring in).

    Bushnell ImageView...The Applications Are Unending!

Bushnell has combined a powerful, long-range binocular with a compact, digital camera and engineered a epoch of endless possibilities. The Image View is ideal for sports fans, open-air enthusiasts and adventure travelers that want to simultaneously view and record-breaking everything.

    Bushnell ImageView Digital Camera/Binoculars:

  • Menu/control panel to maintain camera functions
  • Center focusing mechanism for quick, unreserved focusing
  • Fully coated optics for optimal light transmittal
  • Fold down eyecups
  • Rubberized and textured surface for extra sensitivity
  • Comes complete with software (PhotoSuite) and USB cable
  • Includes neck strap and haulage case
  • Uses two AAA batteries (not included)
  • 10 X 25mm
  • VGA still pictures
  • 8 MB of internal reminiscence
  • Holds 80 pictures at high resolution & 300 pictures at low relentlessness
  • 10x binocular magnification and 8x camera magnification
Combining a pair off of binoculars with a digital camera is a brilliant idea with endless possibilities, with usable applications from birdwatchers documenting their greatest "catches" to parents zooming in on their kids on the playing American football gridiron. Unfortunately, Bushnell’s Imageview digital binoculars, which integrate digital imaging into a matched set of 10x25 binoculars, may be ahead of their time.

The image quality of the binoculars isn’t a tough nut to crack, as they employ clear optics that allow for sharp focusing at the settled 10x zoom level. Build quality also is good, with thick rubber coating on the sides to effect a good grip and fold-down rubber eyecups to accommodate eyeglass wearers. The mini 25mm objective lenses, however, don’t provide substantial light-gathering but do keep the sketch as small and light as possible

The built-in camera will be the real question for most users. It uses a low-resolution CCD that snaps pictures at a fixed verdict of 640 x 480, which is fine for e-mail but not adequate for making prints. To follow matters worse, most of the shots we took were grainy, with lots of smallness artifacts and subpar color.

If you can live with those limitations, the camera does have the benefits of smooth of use and plenty of image-storaging capacity. With 8 MB of built-in memory, we snapped hardly 150 pictures before connecting the camera to a PC. No image preview is elbow, but a basic black-and-white LCD display on top of the camera tells you how many pictures you’ve snapped and the selected state.

With a better digital camera and removable memory slots, this point of a high-quality camera-binocular hybrid could realize its full possibility. However, the image quality compromises imposed by the Imageview will be too much for many to bear, regardless of the low payment. --T. Byrl Baker

    Pros:

    • Compact binoculars
    • Camera is easygoing to use and doesn’t require two hands
    • Stores nearly 150 pictures in internal celebration

    Cons:

    • Low picture quality
    • No direct image preview or board of directors
    • 25mm objective lens means you need a lot of light to get the most out of the binoculars

    Customer Reviews

    Gentle product
This upshot is very easy to use. The picture quality is acceptable but I expect that it can be more focused on one small object.
    baksheesh
These were accepted as a gift, the product was easy to set up and use, don't know about the picture quality
    No updated drivers
The binoculars worked first-class, but I have no idea how the cameral worked. We have 3 computers (laptops) with 3 different operating systems - windows 2000, vista & windows 7. The drivers provided on the CD would not trade with any of these. I called Bushnell & was told that there were no available updates. So unless you have a very old computer, I wouldn't buy this model.
Not what you envisage from Bushnell
But for idea but Bushnell really fell down on the job with this one. My fiance bought this used for $10.00 and now I'm glad she didn't pay anymore for them.
It's my job to personality out any new gadgets she gets so I went to Bushnell's site first and after some browsing, I found the binoculars and there was a manual available in PDF (it shows the camera functions only) but no drivers to be found. Luckily the disc she got with the acquire worked!!
She has Photoshop already so all I installed were the drivers from the CD onto her XP Pro computer. There is absolutely NO DOCUMENTATION on how to get the pictures off the camera so I opened Photoshop and habituated to import and sure enough Bushnell was there. I clicked on it and the Bushnell software came up but it's a "by guess and by gosh" process to body out how to transfer the pictures from the camera into Photoshop.
Once transferred, I checked image size and it was 640x480 at 1mp per inch, so scenery is patent but I have my doubts as to small animals etc.
Another thing that irritated me was that I couldn't get the 2 sides of the binoculars bring to a close enough together to get a good view, in other words I had to look through 1 lens at a time. I've never had that problem with a pair of binoculars before.
Bushnell has always been a high-mindedness name but they sure couldn't prove it with this product.
    Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!
No driver or software download ready, BEWARE
The driver disk that I have will not calling anymore, so I figured that I could download it online. However, it is not available anywhere for download. Now I am stuck with a product that is inefficient to me. Do not waste your money on this or any other Bushnell product, customer support is non-existent!

The new Stealthview¿ Digital Night-time Vision products use a powerful infrared spotlight to produce images with devotedness rivaling that of Generation 2 and 3 optics. The view is acidulous from edge to edge, and they're effective in complete darkness and at long distances. They're also unseeable to game animals and observers.

    Mere for night viewing
I did not about that this binocular would be a good deal for the money. I really thought it would be like a childs toy or unbiased plain useless. I WAS WRONG!!!! I love my Bushnell Night Watch 2X24 w/Built in Infrared Binocular. There are woods behind my conversant with and my binocular seems to work the darker it is the better the view. It's great to see all of the 4 legged night creatures and the 2 legged "humanitarian rats" that might be roaming the woods at night.Bushnell Night Watch 2x24 w/Built in Infrared Binocular

Bought for our 11 year old. He loves it and so does Dad. Works noticeably well
reasonable some info on nvg's before you buy one
to the buyer who purchased this product and stated that in a dark room, he couldn't see anything, night vision devices aren't made to let you see anything in a subfusc room without the aid of infra-red. yes, with the infra-red on you were able to see, but thats only because the infra-red is there for use only in poor lighting situations. on a perspicuous night outside with the moon out and plenty of starlight, visibility is pretty good. on a fogged up night, no moon or starlight, visibility with night vision goggles isn't as good anymore. what they're meant to do is amplify the ambient light that is given off by the moon or the stars. indoors with no light origin, you wont be able to see anything without using the I.R. mode.also, most civilian model night vision devices use older era tubes, so the image probably isnt as good as it would be with newer generation tubes. if anyone would like to comprehend more, this is the link that goes more in depth about night vision devices

i had to give a rating to post this, so i good went with the 3 stars to say its ok.
honesty a possessions product. does what it says.
the Bushnell endlessly watch is a good toy, but nothing for serious use.

In a dark room I couldn't see anything at all with out the IR light on. No shapes, no outlines, nothing.

With the IR lightweight on I could see pretty well in the dark. Focus is not perfectly clear, but adequate. The objective is pretty limited, but I can read the label on a cereal box in complete darkness from about 25 feet away. From farther I can reveal out shapes and outlines.

It wasn't exactly a waste of money, but it isn't as fun or useful as I thought it would be, and in perception after the fact I don't think I'd buy it again.

    Fun Binocular
Got this for a Fathers Day contribution, he loves it!! Of course I had to take it out of the package and try it before we gave it to him, it was just as described. We could see in total misery, the viewing field is somewhat small up close but it is sufficient to play around with. I could see my dog who was running down the yard, (about 300 or more feet)in perfect darkness. It is a fun binocular. My dad wanted one to see the wildlife at night at his home.

    Outstanding opera glasses
My new Bushnell Powerview 12X25 binoculars are ripping.
They fit in a pocket and are totally adjustable and keep their focus.
I use them for getting great views at the theatre and the tablet game.
    I can't blurry it well.
However I tried and followed the administration, I get a blurred image and it tires my eyes out. If I close one eye and look, the image is good, but when look with both eyes, the fetish is very blurred and it hurts my eyes. I can't really use it for anything. I don't know why.
    Nothing to craze about
You get what you pay for. These were very budget-priced and not all that great.
    Bad then Yard goods
When my binoc here, the optics were terrible. Vertical disintegration, no way to correct. Returned and exchanged and this pair is experienced. 12x is fine for my hands and the view is great. I miss my Minoltas (does anyone recall where they went?), but these will do and the price is more than right.
Two lenses will not well- into one picture
Bought these as Christmas prize for my spouse, and right after Christmas we took a motorhome trip, not testing them until we were on the road. We both did everything achievable to get the left and right sides to come together as one picture but to our great disappointment nothing helped. Although rated well on Amazon by other customers, this was a defective pair of binoculars. Problem now is that we were on the road for over 30 era and now it's too late to return them for a full refund.

    Bushnell Tripod Window Mount
I have enchanted thousands of pics out the window of car, bus, van, etc. I finally decided to automate it somewhat. I plan to use this scheme for a lightweight Sony H2 camera in Europe. I suspect that it will travel well. It is lightweight and appears to have a all right attachment. The tripod is lightweight as well, but I suspect that it will be adequate for a lightweight camera. I have not had a chance to put it to the evaluation yet, but hope that it will perform as anticipated.
    Fair value, questionable build quality
I bought this to use as a tripod from my car window. For it's bonus, it does a great job. Be careful with how much you tighten the joints, however, as the "ball" portion of the mount seems to have worked itself waste from the weld.
Due what I was looking for
nothing taste and wont hold abig camera, but I wanted it to hold a small handi cam in my motor boat and this one gives me options on where I can moutn or use the tripod legs to set it on any deck.
    Dense, Rugged and Versitile
I needed a window mount for simplicity photos. The window function is great but the super strong and extra stable mini tripod gets tolerant of just as much. The tripod and window mount separate so you can use either or both at the same time. I've already used both mounts on my cameras, binoculars and telescopes. Both these mounts enclose up to a very small package; a package that's so rugged you don't even need a carry case. Just lash out at it in the glove box or backpack, it will survive rough handling. A great design, a great cost and it has the famous Bushnell quality.
    Beautiful, kind of cumbersome
I like the multi-functionality of this tripod, being both a mini-tripod, and a window mount. I let my friends mooch it on their trip, and they both remarked how nice it was to be able to take pictures of themselves together, to make it look like they had friends captivating the picture!

It's pretty good quality, and worth the money. Great for traveling since it's condensed, lightweight, and can be transported in two pieces. The base legs stick a little though.

I purchased the new Bushnell Keepsake Cam Devil-may-care Camera a few weeks ago. This is my first infrared misrepresent camera. It takes infrared pictures at gloaming, and feel embarrassed during the day. I've no more than done some testing at the legislature, and I'm loving it. It's got a skilful trigger go hell for leather. Around 1.2 seconds!! No sparkle!! Very insignificant!! The dimensions are 6" x 4". Extra, the wallop sustenance on this camera is around 3-6 months!! I've got a Moultrie High-spirited Camera also, it's been a flattering camera, but trigger make tracks is good-looking sleepy, so I've principally familiar it over mineral place. I'll be skilled to use the Bushnell Bays Cam over trails, etc. We've got alot of bears on our billet, so I've been searching the internet for a saintly hook box for the camera. A investor found this website ( http://www.camlockbox.com ) that makes a extensive box. Fits of laughter damned and has spots for hookups, and slots for range of cables.

Are the bushnell 10x25 binocular digital camera any good for air show and nfl football games?

    Q:

A: Other than for the the score that they are binocular, not really. You would do far better with a digital SLR and a lens of about 70x300mm zoom. The 25 is a very focus window of view and a 10x50 is quite heavy. I have a 7x15x50 zoom two of a kind I use at air shows and a Pentax SLR with 2 lenses, a 18x55 and a 75x400 and covered the Dayton cosmopolitan air show and have many terrific shots of the Raptor in particular and of the "Tradition Flight" consisting of a P51, F16 and the F22 together.
