OK Camera for the well-heeled
As stated in another fly-past, the camera fogs up after underwater use. It did clear itself up after a while. The pics I did take underwater were very good. Better to throw away the extra $$$ and buy a better camera.

Fogs Up
The camera takes fantastic pictures but it fogs up and takes awhile to defog. Condensation builds up in the card slot and ruins cards.

Underwater camera
Growing back to AA batteries when you're used to lithium digital camera batteries is definately a pain and they don't last anywhere contiguous as long. The photo quality is what is to be expected being a 100$ camera, however it does take wonderful beach pictures. I don't classify either of these things highly but the camera did exactly what I expected so I give it 4 stars. I was leary about putting it underwater but I did for transient spurts and has no fear of it getting splashes of water on it. it's definately better than always buying a turf out away waterproof camera, more convenient with the SD card and can take videos. This camera is ugly and considerable but I am happy with my purchase and have no regrets.

Adequate underwater camera, eats up batteries
I have had this camera for about a month, and have tolerant of it for one vacation and many family outings in that time. The photos I get from the camera are pretty good, you can impress them or view at a good size on screen and they stand to those challenges. My best underwater shots are from dazzling times during the day of close subjects in macro mode. That is true both of my still shots and videos.
While on vacation, I took the camera snorkeling a few times. Because of my ferment over snorkeling, I used the camera pretty heavily, taking snapshots or videos as often as not while in the water. I found that a half hour of such heavy use would use up two regular AA batteries. I like that the camera uses AA and not a proprietary freestyle. But I would say poor battery life is my main reluctance to recommending this camera. If you bring it on a sprawl, by an 8 pack of batteries and be ready to use it.
I also looked at other, more expensive digital underwater cameras, and for me this was the right value. I wanted a camera I would take everywhere without reasonable twice, and the AGFA fits that bill nicely. It is fun to bring around town and takes good snapshots on vacation.

Poor as a church-mouse customer service to back a poor quality camera
After using this camera for a compendious amount of time, the camera's photo quality went from ok to exteremely fuzzy and speckled. One extent of the bits didn't even record picture information, resulting in a white spot in my represent. Even when used as a web cam, the camera has fuzzy, speckled video feed. When I contacted AGFA about it, they gave me a extensive distance number to New Jersey (I am in WI), and told me repairs would be charged to my credit card!

Caper Agfa ePhoto CL18 if you have Windows XP!
We got this camera for my 11 yr. old for his birthday. It took a month of finagling to At the end of the day reach Agfa tech support (in Venezuela or somewhere) before we could get the computer to recognize the camera. DON'T PLUG IN THE CAMERA TO YOUR PC BEFORE THE SOFTWARE IS Affluent OR YOU'LL GO THROUGH THE SAME!!!! Once that was fixed, though, it was great! Nice pictures for the price (we just printed them on our weekly PC paper), great for a kid. We took a million pictures the first year of use. Then we upgraded to a computer with Windows XP.... *sound* The new driver on the website didn't work (seriously crashed the whole computer). When I once again contacted tech sustenance, they said they have no driver for Windows XP and don't plan to develop one. The end. Useless camera for us now...

Another "Don't sack your money" Vote
I bought this camera while shopping for a web cam, I undisputed to buy this camera because it would also "Travel". It quit taking pictures after 1 trip outdoors, it fitting makes little chirping sounds now when you push the buttons, this camera apparently doesn't like to go case. I could get my money back or a replacement but don't want to bother. It still works ok as a web cam, I guess I'll just use it for that. The few times I did take still photo's the obligation is very poor and the colors were washed out badly. I shouldn't complain cause when I bought the cam I consider it was mispriced at a national office supply chain, I bought it for less than half the price I've seen it for anywhere. I just look at it like I have a sort of good value in a web cam.

Focal Digital Camera
I was looking for a elementary digital camera--mostly to send a few photos online. The AGFA CL18 seems to work well for that at its price.
I first could not get photos from the camera to the PC. When I had to get a new printer, I skilled some USB ports are underpowered. The camera worked once I installed a power USB hub.

Client Beware
This camera eats batteries...We when all is said purchased an AC adaptor at Radio Shack to use when we are downloading photos but it still goes through the batteries very pronto.
This camera works best for outdoor pictures. Indoor pictures are either too dark or washed out if the glare is used.
Also, although this camera is still being sold by many retailers, according to AGFA they are no longer producing or selling this camera and the software for it is unavailable.

At most awful; avoid at all costs
I bought two of these for my kids and they are unpleasant. The picture quality is so low that only about 10% of the photos are worth keeping. And being for my young children, my standards are very low. I bought them almost as a toy, and STILL I'm seriously disappointed. DO NOT BUY.
