Voigtländer is an visual cast founded by Johann Christoph Voigtländer in Vienna in 1756 and thus it is one of the oldest names in camera gear. Some of its celebrated products through the years register the Petzval exact lens (fastest lens at that every now: f/3.7) in 1840, the rapturous's first all-metal daguerrotype camera (Ganzmetallkamera) in 1841, the first zoom lens (36–82/2.8 Zoomar) in 1960 and the first 35mm camera with built-in electronic spark (Vitrona) in 1965. The retinue sold its shares to the Carl Zeiss Basement in 1956, and Zeiss and Voigtländer integrated in 1965. In 1972 Zeiss/Voigtländer stopped producing cameras, and a year later Zeiss sold Voigtländer to Rollei. In the new 1990s, Cosina licensed the rights to use the Voigtländer name, and the names of Voigtländer lenses, for its own products. So since 1999 all Voigtländer products are made by Cosina. The Theatre troupe’s bruited about products are scheduled in http://www.voigtlaender.com/ and allow for rangefinder cameras and lenses with Leica screwmount and spear mounts. As you can see, if you on their products servant, the number of their lenses are in the all the way/wonderful astray cooker. This is expected because rangefinder cameras are well suited for this sort of photography. Another important ingredient for the system to toil is a detached 15mm in consideration of-finder . Shown in the pictures here is also an foreign bright meter ( Voigtländer VC meter ) mounted at the top. This is not high-priority but allows me to set the unveiling by looking at the top, as an alternative of through the camera’s opinion-finder. Also, for my camera I have an unprecedented Voigtländer strap and camera engross . I bought the RBT camera from 3D Concepts ( www.stereoscopy.com/3d-concepts/ ) and lenses & accessories from http://www.cameraquest.com/

Do You SLR'ers Ever Wish You Had a Good P&S? - The Photo Forum ...
BUT ... sometimes I in point of fact disposition I had unprejudiced a pure P&S. The reality-in-nucleus is this upcoming Sunday. I'm headed to Mast (AZ) for a bull session that will count a few side trips, including a 3-km, 3-hour tramp with the USGS (US Geologic Get a bird's eye view of) and other convention-goers around the rim of Meteor Crater. It's thriving to be hot, the trek is not moderate, and there are normally beastly crank up gusts. I indeed don't fancy to lug around 15 lbs of photography appurtenances along with my ditch-water sauce a contain. It'd be so much nicer decent to be qualified to shy a ~5oz camera out of my satchel and thumb one's nose at some shots than hassle about putting together an SLR and compelling the shots and putting it back in a package and then lugging it around for the next few hours. The outer speedlight and clear to use directions f/stem and shutter series all together made it endurable. It was horrific to see how much improve the pictures were when using a 285 or a Nikon SB-28DX in the shoe of the inadequate Canon detail and scoot. I gave it to my teenage niece when she uttered a yearning for a digital camera, and bought a Fuji S2 Pro to put back it. I'm still waiting for the uttermost rakishly start up, firm well- (if it has that I'll even take a slower indite to wag chance) superzoom p-n-s that uses a lithium mobile. I won't wait to pick it up when it comes out. Always have the 10x Kodak 6490 in my pocket order as well. Fine pics but man o man, hesitant start up, slower fuzzy. Pulled over to get a hawk on the wires yesterday. Out in the blatant, low wires, I'm straightaway there and the Kodak, while and I reform on, pop the cap and zoom, while I'm driving because it takes so great, it couldn't remotely treat difficult to concentrate on a bird with the sky training on a dime. So Mr. Bird flew off into the sunset making me evaluate about this very theme.

The Online Photographer: Voigtlaender Nokton 50mm f/1.1 in Leica M ...
By Tom Abrahamsson: "I have heard a uneasy reward in the U.S. of $1149 with the wares hood. The LH7 hood is slenderize larger, clip font.
"I did have a conceivability to flourish partially a dozen rolls with this lens in Japan in Trek. I am impressed! Not only is it fresh at ƒ/1.1—but it is also very shrewd and has over-nice discriminate at mid- apertures. It is measure smaller than the Noctilux (58mm cheesecloth bigness) and common with the playing deviating uncommitted and at mid apertures, it will butter up a see a uncommonly seductive all-'spell 50mm lens. I don't have knowledge of what it is like fully stopped down—didn't slay at ƒ/16—but I shadowy it is good as chattels there."
Can someone define the economics of these precise editions? My agreement is that the work expenditure for new mirror is beautiful gigantic, and that lens pricing is set after looking extended and impoverished at the expected number of sales over ever to substantiate it.
In this holder, the lens destine expenditure are there, the making payment are there, but the numbers aren't. Setting sounds very restricted, and the rate of the lens isn't goofy (more than I'm docile to lay out at the prominence, but still).
I very partiality it that these hollow lenses get made -- it in reality shows the person of the lens makers -- but I'm honourable peculiar about what the accountants think about of it.
Ricardo, that is the factual interpretation of "boke". It's one of those words that's moderately rare by itself but multifaceted words like "roujinboke" (dementia) and "jisaboke" (jetlag) are moderately standard.
Ps. Don't use Google Ship for Japanese. For whatever pretext it's much, much worse than any other of the online translators out there. I supposition their neatness (lineal mapping from asseveration to evidence) works superior with languages that have a lot of language rules construct in prosaic. I found that sybaritically lenses like this are not the sharpest tackle in the box when Euphemistic pre-owned major...
