I have no sense of the 18-55 kit lens, but it indisputably is a budget lens. I about the 18-70 is far preferred and is the unwed lens I had on my D70s for more than a year before I got more lenses. I'm not steadfast that the organization of the 18-55 and the 50mm f1.8 is merit it, but perhaps an 18-70 + 50mm f1.8, or the 18-70 + the 85mm f1.8 would be. Now back to buying the AF lens, the 18-70 in India is about 266 GBP and 18-105 is about GBP 253. Is it merit buying the 18-70 bearing in mind that I will misplace on the zoom size & VR. I'm truly more bothered about the optics than the zoom span, but any recommendation from the experts here? Still looking for a mete out here to buy it Euphemistic pre-owned.

DSLR camera accessories question?
Q: Hello.
I have been shooting more and more with a tripod as of overdue, as I inherited my father's old Slik. Whenever I'm doing tripod shots for an spread-out period of time, I can't help but notice that the neck strap can get in the way and entrancing it off is no real breeze. When I opt to shoot outdoors, unless my camera is set lofty, my neck strap will find its way into a puddle of mud or a small sea of morning dew. Not unqualifiedly too much of a big deal, but it can be a pain.
It's my senior year in high opinion, and as an independent computers course, I'm doing some things with photoshop and digital profile photography. I'll be using a tripod a lot more consistently.
Is there any way I can easily second/detach my neck strap from the camera body? I noticed that the D200 seems to have clips that entertain for this sort of thing. Is there something similar I can find, or is there nothing to do short of simply putting it on and winning it off every single time?
