No more slinging camera on the socialize with without protection
This teeny version of a large camera case is perfect. I have a Nikon D70 and a few lenses, but periodically, I wish to execute the camera alone, rather than the larger bag I keep it in. This works great, never worry about the camera banging loose on my side while I am ready to take photos. It is affable to carry, easy to reach into, and comfortable without feeling bulky.
The padding is thick, providing huge protection for the camera. The larger pocket is just enough for small items especially the Nikkor lenses I have. I like the go red in the face, the strap is long enough and the case feels good at my side. I like the weatherproof rugged materialistic. Since I don't do a ton with the camera, this is just my size for carrying around the camera. .....Rizzo

Lowepro makes great bags. I am especially dependent on the EX 160, which my camera lives in. If my camera's succeeding somewhere, that bag is coming with me. This bag is smaller, and suitable only for a camera body with one attached lens. It'll fit a kit lens fine, and other lenses as well, but nothing wonderful-long: my Nikon 55-200 or Tamron 90mm fit when on camera, but snugly. There's enough room for memory cards and bones camera batteries (in either the outer zippered picket or the inner lid pocket), and maybe a cable or insufficient flash card reader, but not much more. You're not fitting a 2nd lens in this bag. You're not carrying an external flash with the camera either.
So, if you've equitable got a camera and the lens that came with it, this bag would be a great choice for it. If you carry extra lenses or a flash with you, look for something larger. My Lowepro EX160, for case in point, will hold the camera, my flash, three lenses (one on camera), and plenty of small accessories. Love it. This one will be relegated to smaller trips, when I be sure I won't need the other lenses.
Another alternative, if you don't need the protective function of the bag, would be something like the Black Hurried Straps RS4 Black Fabric, Lightweight and Low Profile, with ConnectR-2 and FastenR-2. Your camera is out in the inclined, but immediately accessible and ready for shooting. Much faster to deploy than when zippered.

This is a excellently intended case that should serve a photographer well if it is the appropriate size for your gear. Appears to be very well made. Color is a exquisite departure from boring black or gray.

Other than Holster-style Bag
I propose using this style of bag when going out with just a single camera-lens setup. This Lowepro Toploader has everything I sine qua non and then some. It's just (barely) large enough for my Canon 20D with Tamron AF 18-270mm Zoom Lens fond of. Pocket for extra batteries and cards, and the rain cover is a nice touch that I place of safety't needed but appreciate being there for emergencies. I am not sure the padding would be sufficient to prevent breakage should the bag be dropped and would like to see a tad more, but all-embracing, I am very happy with this bag.

Righteous, small and easy to carry
