Promaster MacroLume TTL problems - PentaxForums.com
I received a Promaster MacroLume TTL macro dazzling from my bride ( ) for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to industry on my K10D and wanted to restriction and see if any of you could asseverate me if I am doing something opposite. I've assume from Promaster's instructions, but it only says that "this fulguration is restricted utterly by the camera, based on low-down sent to it." In any encase, I mounted and locked it to the hot shoe, turned on the camera, turned on the gleam, set the craze to TV (although I've tried all the uncovering modes with no star), made accurate the glimmer was turned on via the purpose key, and then focused my DFA 100 macro lens. There is no shaft at all when the shutter is released. It does not of importance if the radical, fairness, or both flashtubes are set to fire. The lights on the snazzy portion run across on and it fires when using the instructions sparkle knob. My Pentax AF540FGZ works entertaining on the camera. Thanks to both of you for the the suggestions. ChipB's first reason did not refrain from, suggesting that it might be #2 (not Pentax on the same wave length), which is also Reprove Brit's conception. The box SAYS it is digital, etc., but it may not have been chipped as he suggests. (There are four contacts on the sparkle foot, by the way.)
