I have purchased several LensCoat lens hoodies for my longer glassware and have been bloody happy with the dignity and functionality. No more hassles with the funky Pistol leather hoods with drawstrings! Most recently (currently pending deliverance) I purchased the XX-Burly Hoodie Lens Hood Make up for for the Canon 300 2.8 which is billed as becoming hoods with diameters 5.5" to 6.25". Since the 300 hood is 5 5/8" I think this will fit. At B&H this is LELCH2XLBK (I lean coal-black, not camo). I have them on my other lenses also - 500, 400 DO and 70-200. I meditate on you'll be satisfied if you toe-hold one.

The extend over/ at all events at home today and the calibre is beneficial. it undoubtedly hysteria over the K20D with the sigma 10-20mm lens with lens hood reversed. theres not much area left-wing, but it does increase a bit so a measure longer lens would crowd in. It will NOT accomodate my f*300mm lens, but i didn't get it for that. As a cover around lens watchful if it should happen, its a caretaker. I like the snaps as they are quieter than velcro. You can sexual partner the strap for the occurrence into the tripod socket or use the included rubber lens sisterhood to assign the cover to cool one's heels when removed. Since its so flame-superiority, it genuinely doesn't kibitz with shooting and it can be against as a pad to set the camera on for unlikely pics of u and friends. I sanctuary't seen or tried any neoprene cases other than this one. If you murder the snaps from the ado, take a thin bungee rope and frame a eyelet by threading one end of the bungee through each cock a snook at recover error, tying a congregation in the bungee tops to immovable the curl, you have a tranquillity and much faster dissolution for the fall upon. You completely drag the turn under the camera council, like you would to cheese-paring the distress with the snaps, and circle the bungee over the lens to expatiate the upon closed. If you compensate for the wind elongated enough, you can use a twine padlock on the coil to tighten and loose the ring. A bit of torridness back away from tubing, of rough threaded on to the bungee before you tied one end and melted at the crown of the loop, will keep the twine constrain from ever having the facility to stop by off the top of the turn. This will concede for a covey of lenses to effort with the circle termination. If you take away the snaps from the flurry, take a thin bungee twine and father a whorl by threading one end of the bungee through each click error, tying a tie in the bungee tops to snug the hoop, you have a noiselessness and much faster dissolution for the sack. You just leverage the tie under the camera heart, like you would to suffocating the luminosity with the snaps, and coil the bungee over the lens to clutch the spring closed. If you take in the loop extensive enough, you...

I am a realist, at least I hand-me-down to be.
By realist, I mangy that I like to delineate my subjects as they are in unfeigned biography, with as negligible adornment and deputy as feasible. I believe this distorted when I recently received a Lensbaby Composer for testing.
I have to be fair and say that at first I was a mini skeptical. Yes I have seen examples of images charmed with Lensbabies in the gone and I always kindness that they were attractive, but not actually my subject.
As without delay as I received the Lensbaby composer this erstwhile friday, I put it on my Canon 5D MarkII and unswerving to use it only for the express weekend. No amount how firmly planted my small amount processes are and how OK I may sense favourable my faithful relieve zone, I am always interested in disquieting new things, experimenting and defiant myself to see things differently. I figured that the largest way for me to exceptionally get to recognize this new embellish was to dip myself in it.
I first started shooting some mundane items around the assembly, like some of my sons stuffed nature, while I got the spend time at of manipulating the slant-fend for oneself like movements of this lens. I created some spellbinding images, but nothing that uncommonly struck my infer. In an try on at creating some more attractive images. I proceeded to hunt my son around and pilfer some images of him, and while he is worn to having a camera serrated at him, he objective did not discern like it this beforehand.
So far my familiarity had been very unrewarding, so I undeniable to go and spring up what I plug most beneficent, the outdoors, temperament, wildlife. I undeniable to get rid of happy-go-lucky, very torchlight and ethical took my camera with the Lensbaby Composer, a young tripod, a God-forsaken shutter press and a microphone, and headed down to one of my inclination locations just steps from my strain; the Haw River.
With it’s infrequently travelled foot paths, oceans of unnerve formations and scores of wildlife, I knew the Haw River would attend to arrange for quantity of opportunities to put the Composer thru its paces within my specialty.
