buy a bettor mount
I bought this to mount a 50mm F1.8 Zeiss T* lens to my Canon EOS T1i. Rigorousness is everything in these mounts and I thought that I might get a bargain here. Unfortunately, the mount has a lot of play on the Zeiss lens, which is distasteful. Those problems you may have read about with infinity focus apply here. I did, however, buy a Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter with Dandelion AF Centre Confirmation Chip - 42mm Screw Mount, M42 Lens to Canon EOS adapter, for Canon 1d,1ds,Badge II, III, IV 5D, 5D Mark II, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, Rebel xt, xti, xs, xsi, t1i, T2i, 300D, 350D, 400D, 4... - and it is upper in every way. Using a 50mm f1.8 Super Takomar made in the mid 1960s, I was surprised to find that the AF confirmation chip worked! Wonderful.

Economical but very Helpful
Works active and creates a fairly solid connection with the camera. It can be a little clunky getting it on and off if you're using multiple lenses, but at this prize you could probably just buy several and keep them on your lenses. Basically if you have a large amount of C/Y bayonet mount lenses and scarceness to utilize them on a modern DSLR this is the probably one of the best options.

Works eager for my Rebel XTi
I bought this adapter because my placate had an old camera that was his fathers - a Contax MD Quartz. It's a cool camera and it has some fun lenses, but I don't want to deal with film anymore. Perchance sometimes, but for the most part I really just want to take digital pictures.
I have a Canon Rebel XTi and this worked intimate for it. It doesn't come with any instructions, but it's really self explanatory and I had no trouble getting it to profession! I now have two more lenses for my camera as a fraction of the cost.

Favourable quality adapters for C/Y mount lens to Canon EOS body
This is a doll-sized bit expensive, but I believe it has higher quality than what you can buy from Ebay, which will just cost you over $10 and transport from China(including Taiwan). It works for all C/Y mount lens to use on Canon EOS body. All in all, it works, and I am elated.

So far I've purchased three adapters to own me to use my Zeiss (C/Y mount) lenses on my Canon 5D mark II which I recently purchased. I've got the Zeiss 25 F2.8, 35 F2.8, 50 F1.4, 85 F1.4 and 135 F2.8 and they all exertion flawlessly. No play whatsoever. No problem with infinity focusing. These adapters do not have focus evidence, but I use live view with slight magnification to make sure focus is correct anyway.
As far as I can narrate, the adapters are manufactured to a high standard with tight tolerances. Highly recommended as an stingy way to breathe new life into those great Zeiss lenses.

I safe haven't used any of the CZ Contax G to M 4/3rds adapters that have been hatching for the last couple of months but would dearly love to put my lenses on a digital camera. But I very much vacillate however that the focus issue can be resolved--putting a focus ring on the adapter seems both extremely limiting and a cataclysm-in-waiting. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Contax G (I have the G2), it was the most modern rangefinder ever built, with auto-focus, TTL metering, motorized haziness advance, a real-world flash synch, and much else that Leica never deigned to descend to (and let me bolt to add that I'm a life-long Leica fanatic). The lenses are superb, in competition with Leica's crush and little else. But Contax is gone now and the orphaned lenses a victim of the system's uniqueness, far too complex to be worth the stab and unavoidable compromises.
The problem is that the camera and lens system are auto-focus only. The "manual" mode is enclosed by a small wheel on the camera but the only way to tell you're in focus is by looking at an LCD display in the finder. There is also no in-lens focus summons or even a depth-of-field scale on the lens body. Without a focus ring, focus is prompted by a small screw through the mount; it must be this relatively tiny part that the adapters latch on to and drive (yikes!). Attaching an unidentified manufacturer's bolt-on makeshift to a lens as intricate as a fine watch is just too huge a risk at the moment, but that't just me, and I'd much appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried it. If it works and works reasonably well (as in expressive whether you're in focus within a few seconds, and whether fine focus is possible) the M 4/3rds will begin to live up to their concealed. And not only will these lenses be deservedly resurrected it should help everyone, as all manufacturers will be under pressure to produce better lenses at equitable prices (the CZ lenses are so much better than anything on an SLR it hurts). Enough of my fears, let's hear from the folks who've done more doing than worrying.

Oppressive to focus...
I use it with my E-PL1 and the Contax 90mm f/2.8
As the other reviewer said: it is very very actively to focus using that tiny wheel.
However, with determination and patient I finally get it in focus every but I need to.
Judging from that we have no other choices (to my knowledge), this is the only option for me. It would be great if some company creates other adapter with bigger pinpoint ring/wheel. Until then, I think I have to tolerate it and have to get used to this kind of irritation every time I shortage to use this lens.
For the material quality, as always the same as other products by Fotodiox, it's good, metal with black finishing. Look cutting and smart with the camera and lens. This one even come with little zipper pouch for the adapter itself (maybe this is why the valuation is significantly more than the other adapter by Fotodiox - around double price of that OM to m4/3 - haha, just kidding)

Lens Adaptor wishes to adapt
I bought this adpapter hoping to rivet my contax G lenses to my new Olympus. The focusing mechanism is pretty flakey and I have had very limited success. I was qualified to capture some closeups with my 90mm lens on the E-P1, but when I attached my 45mm lens I wasn't able to get the focus working at all. I go about breaking something on my Olympus so this adapter is likely headed to the "I used it once" pile.
