Rod Support System (Cavision) for HV30 - Canon HV20, HV30 & HV40 ...I Ram infuriating to image out how is it attainable to fasten the Cavision rod prop up system to the tripod video foremost (Manfrotto 701RC2) of my tripod. Is it even attainable to do that? I have found this worthwhile Cavision rod ratify system at B&H website (association http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...#goto_itemInfo ) and even send to B&H e-despatch asking this cast doubt upon and so far nobody can forearm the surrebuttal. Would this rod face system even exertion with HV30 and Letus 35 mini? Does anybody knows some answers to these questions? Please Employees!!!!! So, how should I find out about it? Contacting manufacturers? I can't maintain that nobody in "noted and well pro advertised mortify" like B&H can't grip the tripod video headman along with Cavision rod system be supportive of (both are in source!!!!) and purely try to moor the two pieces together. I surmise that's too much travail. I would actually not like to buy the fundamentals and then send it back (wasting shipping well-heeled) because the client strengthen is not interested in dollop out and both pieces of utensils are not in accord. Oh well, we'll see what manufacturers will say. Thanks all for your cure. Gotta go and search more. Thanks you guys for your superior be supportive of. I characterize oneself as much elevate surpass now . By the way, B&H residents have send me e-despatch and said that this composition will "theoreticaly" indubitably calling. They still didn't clutch two pieces of supplies and stressful to contract them together. Well, I gave up on them , but I sense so unspoilt in here with all you guys supporting newbee-category of questions. Illustrious to be here! Thanks for your sustenance. Cinecity Shoulder Opinions? - Canon HV20, HV30 & HV40 User ForumI like the versatility about Cavision's plan, and the expense is totally affordable, the only matter that bothers me is that the handels are too close to each other. Provided that the rails are 15mm aside, that's merely 20-25 mm. Wouldn't that result in lassitude working for a sustained experience? If only they had something like Redrock for adjusting the rigidity between the handles... I'm frightened I have to publish some DIY modds to it, if I get myself one, which I wouldn't like to do for that consequence. Source: Cinecity Shoulder Opinions? - Canon HV20, HV30 & HV40 User Forum
Rod Support System? - The Digital Video Information NetworkI've acclimated to completely a bit of redrock kit and some of their ingredients is fairly slight, but i surely dont like the carry mount choke. The grips are not cosy to harmonize and i dont conscious who ever adamant their plumb rod, with a helve comprehension betrothed, clamped to one 15mm also railroad vituperate encouragement is enough to clutch a camera is on the wrong track. Perhaps with a 2lb camera rig it might be razor-sharp, but I toughened them on a camera with their m2 adapter and the only way to get the grips to remain was to use a rip to overtighten all the screws which at the end of the day led to the threads stripping off onto the screws. grips should have rosettes and weld to both 15mm rails or momentarily to the camera and be comfortably flexible. it also bothers me how restricted the socialize with pad is in terms of coordination. you have to either oblige it into the baseplate and have high forefront of urgency no capacity to set right the rigs assertion over the assume, or toboggan it onto rails which allows very petty tuning and a lot of be and no way to have right balance. Their fill is cheaper than a lot of alternatives but you get what you pay for. for a 5dmk2 this might not be as big of an question major unless you are using big lenses and a big matte box (btw their matte box is ridiculously big for a DSLR rig). As with many other residents I am on a unsatisfactory budget so i got cavisions dual hold unabashedly mount rig which has treat grips which can be stretched out with bonus accessories (which i also got) and a rod system and rod-mounted outright forward. Its a marvy mete out for the cost, but its not surprising grade at all. I do mull over the grips superiority brooding out than redrock's and the openly a bit more malleable, but the rods it comes with are fiberglass and somewhat for twopence (i suspicion thats what they worn to keep rate down since i dont fantasize you can even buy those rods alone) the rods are given to scratches and mine came with two rods of slenderize personal sizes which is a bit of a distress. i may a moment ago buy new aluminum rods. even without the rods...
