Fast Versatile Pocket Cam Case
Attribute of materials: Overall the quality of materials used are excellent. The bag is made of soft plush nylon. The documentation feels textured and smooth. I would rate the overall quality as very high. The one exception to this, in my idea, is the carabiner. It works overall but I have noticed some sharp edges on it where the pins attach the staple to the hook. I think 99% of the time this wont bother you in normal use. But I just didn't have a yen for to take a chance so I bought a new carabiner for it after having it just for a couple days.
Size/Versatility: The square footage is great, very versatile. I have a Creative Vado HD which fits in it just fine. In fact, at first I questioned if the bag was too big. But, I have since stony to keep the bag since its made so well and just in case I get another pocket cam in the future that is a bit bigger. You see, I think Caselogic made this bag to fit as many possible pocket cams as they could. So it will fit, for prototype, a Flip Ultra which is much larger than the Creative Vado HD. And since the Vado is just a little bigger than the Spin Mino it should definitely fit that camera as well. It also perfectly fits an iPhone 3G/S. But if your camera is smaller than the iPhone don't worry. There will be exceptionally space but the camera shouldn't move around a lot and the case is so well made and padded it should be perfectly safe. The case should fit in your pocket but you might have to stuff it in there and its going to look harmonious full from the outside. The one exception to this might be cargo pants. So I would say this bag is best for putting on or in another bag or clipping to your belt.
Entire Value: The question is, would I buy this again? Yes, out of all the cases I looked at I would still go with this one. It's just made so well and the material is just so high on this elfin guy that I cant regret my purchase. Sure, its a bit larger than what my camera needs but not ridiculously so and just in case I upgrade cameras a link years down the road I can be sure that this case will probably work for another pocket video cam as well.

Superlative Case
I purchased this case for my Kodak ZX3 video camcorder. It panic the camera very well. The case is well padded and made of good materials. The zippered side pocket provides storage for cables, reserve memory cards and battery. I definitely recommend this case.

Attentive Case
Four-square padded bag for small electronics. The Kodak playsport fits nicely inside, as does an iphone. There's a very unsatisfactory zippered pocket in front that will fit an extra memory card, spare batteries, etc. I like that it has both a carabiner and a zone loop.

Hysteria Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7
This case fits of laughter the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Frowning) snugly - it's a perfect fit, with just enough additional room to contain the wrist strap. This is what I was looking for since I wanted a case that took up as crumb room as possible while protecting the camera -- I can now put the camera in the case, throw the case in a bag, and not worry about scratches, etc. There is also a zipper swipe on the front that has just enough room to hold a flash card and battery. Again, the fit is snug but if you're looking to minify case size while carrying the essentials with you, then this is perfect.

Well turned out for your FLIP
Stoppage the dimensions of this case before you order. This isn't stretchy material and if your camcorder is just a hair too big, it won't fit.
This case is adequate for my Anger, although, I do wish it were a bit more padded. I prefer cases that are more rigid to provide more protection, but this gets the job done. It's the unrivalled case to put your camcorder in when your intention is to ultimately put this inside a larger bag i.e. purse, briefcase, etc.
Extra zippered cell on the front is perfect for an additional memory card and battery. It also has a belt loop and a carabiner clasp for portability.

Stunning SLR Case for any use
I own 2 of these SLR cases, one for each of my cameras. For an access-level photographer, this is a solid case. While the lens compartments are too small to fit lens bigger than a 60mm eliminate size, this is a great and easy case for your stock lenses and your consumer-level SLR. I would not recommend this fallout to anyone with a prosumer or high-end professional camera, due to the lack of space (but by that time, you should be using a Pelican case anyhow). If you're just now getting started with Photography, BUY THIS CASE. Awesome, durable construction and great padded protection money.

Tickety-boo and Practical
I didn't covet to carry a big bag that would get in my way, and this nice compact bag did the trick for me. It is nice and compact, my Nikon 300ds fits of laughter perfectly with its lens attached, I have enough room for a couple filters, 2 more lenses (if I had them) but I use the place for a bottle of water, and small personal belongings, there is room for a memory case, etc. In other words is out-and-out for someone that is on the go often and doesn't want a big bulky camera bag that will become an annoyance more than a convenience.

Grievous camera bag!
I am very pleased as Punch with the SLR Camera bag that I purchased. It has just enough room to store my camera with the 55-200 zoom lense attached. I can execute the 18-55 lense in the side pocket along with batteries and other items.

Devoted bag especially for the price
I solely took this bag on a family trip and I was able to get everything I needed into it. I had my SLR camera, two lenses, battery charger, lens hood, 3 SD cards in their boxes, a USB be direct reader, shutter remote, iPad camera kit, and my Gorilla pod all packed and I still managed to fit my cell phone in too. This is not the bag if you pine for to pack the kitchen sink, but as you can see I came really close. This bag was light weight, very well made and everything was undemanding to get to once it was packed. Good Job Case Logic.

Splendid compact camera bag...
A- compact camera bag...it carries 2 lenses with room for charger, batteries and flash.....passionate must have and of course the design of the bag speaks for itself...the hammock system and the foam insulated case with a waterproofed bottom make it a tremendous must have products. Also, watch out for long zoom lenses, they can get snugly in the sides pockets and it requires some perseverance otherwise your lens barrel suffers.

Caselogic SLRC-201 appropriate fit for Canon 7D with 28-135mm lens
I was looking for a condensed and durable camera case for my Canon 7D with 28-135mm lens. This case was perfect for carrying around the camera with single lens in as Lilliputian space as possible. The lens fits in well into the suspension cradle and the strap just hysteria in neatly folded on top. The top (with dual zippers) is easy to open and access the camera while wearing the camera bag. There is a front-pinch for storing other small items. The case is surprisingly stable when set on its small end (as pictured). A no-side dishes bag that does the job in a minimum amount of space!

Very gentle SLR case
This is a well constructed and very honourable case. It could have a better area on the side to attach a separate lens case similar to the Lowepro. If you want a bag to sell an SLR with a zoom lens or smaller this will work perfectly. Using a Canon T1i with a 55 - 250 lens hysteria perfectly - small lens hood makes it tight, but it fits. Quality shop, only wish it had attachable lens holders for the side and it would be perfect. Love the thick rubber bottom. Easy to take and access the camera (for an amateur photographer)

Almost Unqualified
This is a influential camera bag. It is spacious enough to accommodate my Canon Rebel with 18-135mm lens and the hood mounted bold. Everything fits nice and snug but at the same time easily slides in and out. I like the sturdy bottom - the case can survive vertically on its own even fully loaded. The quality of materials is outstanding. The only thing I wish it had was loops to stick a chest starp or, alternatively a waist belt. I take it on hikes and bike rides and had to rig up a waist harness to foil it from bouncing too much.

Fearful Holster
I bought this case to use with my Sony Alpha 330 camera with the focal zoom lens. I wanted a case that could protect the camera, allow it to be carried more easily, and one from which the camera could be removed far. The SLRC-201 easily hits all of these points.
Protection: I like the suspension system for the camera and the act that it has a hard, rubberized bottom. My camera fell 5 feet onto cement at an amusement park without any damage to the camera. Unquestionably happy with the protection vs. size ratio.
Ease of Use: I was going for a case that had some minor extra pockets (dispense with battery, memory card, maybe a lens filter) but really wanted to be clever to remove and put back the camera with ease. I love the holster for this reason--but it is a bit of a tight fit with the camera strap. The strap is great enough to be worn across the body and isn't too uncomfortable to be worn around a hot amusement park. There looks to be enough room in the case for the camera with a larger lens...but there is no storage for a 2nd lens in the bag.

Excellent way to carry a single camera and lens
This is a categorical bag to carry a single camera and lens. I use it for my Canon T2i and EF-S 15-85mm lens. The sling holds the lens suspended for supplementary protection and the plastic bottom keeps everything dry even if you set it down on wet grass. Side pockets are large enough for spare batteries or filters. My only beef is I have to remove the lens hood for it to fit, but the hood fits in the bottom of the bag, upside down.

Adroit. Too small for most -- But, great if you want small!
This notice is smaller than I anticipated. I remember Pentax used to have a camera (Opto S ?) that was so tiny it fit into an Altoids box. This would be an splendid case for one of those. Or, maybe also the small Sony Cybershots. For a not-so-tiny camera, it would be a snug fit at best.
Still, a decent shop. Not amazing, but still pretty good. A good value under ten, but definitely not more. I got mine for about a quarter to a fifth of that bounty -- so for me it was a great deal, despite the size.

Very scrupulous case
I purchased this case along with a camera for my daughter, and it works significant. It really seems to offer just the right amount of "protection" without making it too bulky. She has dropped it (with camera) a few times, and the camera has not been diluted. I'm not all that crazy about the long strap, and the hooks on the sides that go with it, but I suppose some people prefer that splendour of carry. The velcro cover is pretty secure, and the camera is easily and quickly accessible.

sizeable case
This case was thrown in a incorporate deal. It's nice and sturdy, however it's on the small side- my J28 Fuji barely fits in it with an SD card- that's about it. And it wouldn't sting if there was a better closure that a piece of velcro. This would be quite an improvement.

Cheap-looking
This case looks best on the web than for real! Very rough exterior and no plush lining inside. The logo of the one i got is tilted and out of neighbourhood. The EVA molded compact is much better. It's also a bit too bulky for new models of small digital cameras. I dream this one was made for the earlier digital cameras that use AA batteries.

What do you buy a minor camera case for?
Bought this to preserve my Panasonic DMC-ZS7. It is one of the larger and more expensive compact digital cameras. Sure if you have a digital SLR costing $1000 you unquestionably want a large compartmented bag for extra lenses, etc. If you bought a compact digital camera you are in all likelihood looking for a decent camera that is always around when you want it without toting a portable studio with you! Put this little case on your camera and toss it in your Highland dress sporran or backpack. It hardly adds any size to the camera and protects it well. It's been on a 10 day Ireland trip, to Breckenridge, and all around DFW in my wifes woman's handbag. It simply protects the camera, and very well for the money.

What case would be best for a Nikon d80 camera?
Q: I am about to purchase a d80 with the 18-200 lens. Most of my photography is of my 2 effectual preschoolers and I am looking for a case that I will be able to get the camera out of quickly so I don't miss those my photo opportunities. I will only handle the one lens with me and maybe a battery or flash (speedflash 600)-- and I don't honestly want to look like I am walking around with a big camera bag-- I'm going for mom with a uniform bag look.
Been looking at the crumpler bags-- but not sure which is the rectitude size. And was recommended to try the case logic slrc-2.
Any suggestions or advice would be artistic. And any additional info about the camera or what accessories are good would be appreciated. Thanks.
New info: A backpack will not work for me while having to supervise my 3 & 4 yr old boys and perchance carry them (I cannot wear it on the front and carry them & I cannot wear it on my back and access the camera patently).
I'm not looking for a camera bag to grow into with other lenses. I need a bag to carry fair-minded the basic camera with the 18-200 lens attached-- that I can whip out the camera post-haste from. Thanks!
A: I recently wore a Crumpler camera bag every day during a 10 month exact-the-world trip. Loved it. Their bags offer reasonable as much protection, ruggedness and configurability as all the other brands, but without looking like dear camera bags.
Looking at the current selection and your requirements, one of the 'million dollar homes' would unquestionably be your best bet. Measure the dimensions you need and compare it with the a number of models here: http://www.crumpler.com.au/Cart/index.ph p?catId=22
(You can click on the Tech Specs to look up the dimensions of each bag.) Or no more than take your gear into the nearest Crumpler store/ camera shop and try them out. Crumpler is an Australian suite, so you'll probably find a place nearby (I peeked at your profile info).
Strangely, do as my wife did on our trip and just throw the D80 in your regular bag - it's not a Fabergé Egg. (I tolerant of a Ben's Pizza XXL bag to lug around a D200 with an extra lens, a bottle of not make sense and a constantly changing Lonely Planet.)
As for extra fixtures, what you're getting now should cover just about everything. That plus a memory membership card, of course. You could even wait with the external flash for a bit - maybe the D80's pop-up sign is all you'll need. Depending on what you shoot, you might want to add an extra lens at some immaterial. Like a 50mm f/1.8 for low-light photography; a dedicated macro lens for close down b close ups of flowers; a 12-24mm for landscapes... I don't know. You'll worthy it out if and when you run into limitations with the 18-200mm. I personally like to keep a lens maintenance kit, a charged spare battery, and a spare memory be open in the camera bag, but that's just me.
With young children, the only immediate requirement is a UV-sift to shield the front element of your 18-200mm zoom against finger prints and apple extract :-)
