Not the overwhelm design !
I have had no problems with charging though it seems to take a minor longer than they claim. I rate it 4 cause the way you have to literally "hang" the flip from the charging seaport! While it charges, I keep wondering when that flip will fall off so bought a union cable allowing me to keep the flipsafely on my escritoire while it charges!

Don't vastness your money on the Flip Power Adapter
We bought this adapter to use with our son's new Freak Video recorder. The problem is that the power adapter is useless without the specific battery that you also have to buy. Of course the website didn't say anything about buying a mobile too when we bought everything.
This product is just the part that plugs into the camera and the outlet. For the money I feel it is a waste. I advantage solution is to buy a more common recharging system, like Energizer's, that you could not only use for the Flip, but also for anything else in your home that requires AA batteries. In factually, the Energizer system will charge other size batteries, all for less money then the Flip system. To me it's easy. Stay in another place from the Flip charging system, and get a more common, less costly, and more versital, Energizer (or something like it) system.
I will give Amazon a lot of ascribe. They not only paid for my shipping back, but refunded my money for the purchase, so I was not out any funds. They did this because the ad was somewhat misleading, and that is why they paid for the shipping back. That's things, responsible business. Thumbs up Amazon. Thank You.

Again the camera trust in said... these must be referbished or used as they couldn't match the price found on Amazon... Not only that but the camera keep didn't have any in and wanted me to come down and pre-pay for it and the shipping. NADA got it from amazon and its new new... not referbished as the camera keep said it would be. I found that they try to intemadate you into buying it from them at a higher price .. than to tell the truth and you get it from amazon...
Abstention and great remote to be in the picture with... works off of IR so it has to be looking at the camera to fire it off.. but has about 15 ft range... enough for everyone to be in the portrait... kinda thing.

For under $20, it was skilled for Xmas. It's simple to use & it's wireless! The only thing I found myself doing making sure I pointed the detached to the correct side of the camera to hit the sensor. Sometimes it wouldn't go off then I'd have to point it more directly & it would work. The range is good. I had it captivating shots from about 30ft away. It's also convenient for taking those long exposures without having to set the timer (of by all means so you don't get any movement on the camera). Also works great for getting in the picture with the family! So far...so good!

I'm no authority, but for my needs this is a great little remote. It is very thin so slips into small pockets in my camera bag. I figured for 10 bucks, I'd be avid to risk it, i'm satisfied. Can't compare it to anything, never had one before.

PRO's : Close-fisted, light, relatively cheap, very practical for family portraits and tripod-photography in unspecific. It works out of the box with many models (have used it on the D70s, D60 and D90 without a problem) the only requirement is to set the shutter to "remote" mode
CON's : collection. it can be a bit temperamental and seems to work better from in front of the camera. I've had to walk up to the camera, press the remote, and return (which is close to the "concentration on run" method using only the camera's timer)

Surpass camera battery I've used
When I bought my latest Canon digital camera about two years ago, I bought a split second battery like this plus the recharger. The price is low enough that it has made purchasing the 2nd battery well worth it. I keep one in the camera, and the 2nd (charged) one in the camera chest. I always have a battery ready to go when one runs out of juice. Battery life is much better than any regular or rechargeable AA camera batteries I've familiar in the past. Highly recommend to others.

OEM or nothing
I've tried several in accord batteries for many electronic devices from camera, laptops, to mobile phones. Nothing beats the OEM batteries. They may payment a bit more, but they more than make up for it when you need the juice and it's just there.

I am NOT an Amazon adversary. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! I'm beginning to believe the following statement in quotations from Electro Bargains is exactly a cover up to make themselves look innocent- here's their statement:"Beware this feedback is left by a competitive seller on amazon to win game by ruining our feedback." The truth is, I ordered a battery from them that did not work (Battery did not look like my camera's primordial Canon battery. Print was much lighter. Connection holes on sides were smaller than primary battery and did not make contact with Camera - is this a Canon imitation?), I was instructed to send it back and was promised a refund. I never did get a refund and they never answered my emails after they promised me the refund. Safer to buy your freestyle at a Radio Shack where you can be treated better and return/exchange your battery if it does not effort.

I purchased 2 of this batteries after I noticed that it is somehow extraordinary to previous batteries with below average reviews. I tested them in and they work fine in my Lumix DMC-ZS3(portrayal firmware 1.1). They came with the plastic protectors. Maximal Power Mobile DMW-BCG10E works with ZS3 FW 1.2
Divergent from a lot of other reviewers I actually received the Maximal Power DMW-BCG10E battery, not the power whatever that some other people have received.
I can confirm that this battery-operated works with the Panasonic ZS3 with Firmware 1.2. I'm not certain of the battery life, however. I have taken maybe 20 pictures with it, most with suggestion, and recorded about 3 minutes of video and the battery is already 1/3 gone. Now, the caveat on this is that I am using a 4GB Eye-Fi Bailiwick Video card in it, not a regular SD card. I am going on vacation in 3 weeks and will be using a 16GB refinement 6 Patriot SDHC card. I will updated my review after that.

Gamble worth taking!
After all in all the numerous reviews of this product, some positive and some negative, I tried to make a logical arbitration. Some reported that these batteries are incompatible with the Lumix ZS3 unless one downgrades their firmware version. Others communiqu that the batteries work perfectly with no questions asked. A few purchased two of these batteries and reported one sensation and one failure. Well, after pondering for a few hours, I decided to purchase two of these batteries. After arrival, I put both of them in my camera, and it turned out that they both worked bloody, just like the original! It turned out that the batteries I received are compatible with my camera, the Lumix ZS3. After rejoicing, I became skeptical about how these batteries would last and whether the mobile life was sufficient. After having these batteries for a month, I can safely say that they still work perfectly. The freestyle life is even longer than the original battery included with the camera by! I don't know whether this product was upgraded or whether others received a unique product, but by my own experience, I can share nothing but positive comments and highly recommend this battery. It's much cheaper than buying an unprecedented from Panasonic and last longer too! Save some money people!

Surcharge Battery Useful

What is a decent asking price? I see these on Ebay for some reasonably insane amounts (usually $300 to $500), and I'm wondering how residents manage to sell them at this price. Yet I have bidding on my starting at $199...and nobody has been invitation, though I have it set for 5 days.
Suggestions?
