Dimensions - 3.3 x 3.5 (84x89.5mm) Burden - 20.1 ounces (570 grams) I on loan both the Nikon 12-24 F4 and the Tokina 12-24 f4 pro before I made a descision on which lens to advantage. I was disposed to pay for the Nikon if I felt it was high-class to the Tokina. I mostly rush in weird state of affairs, so hard structure of my kit is very leading, followed by the effectiveness of the aim (operationally), and the eminence of the optics. The Tokina out performed the Nikon based on the house and was selfsame to the Nikon in lay out and optics. It is the only non-nikon goblet I use. After much up on, I bought this lens about a month ago and I am loving it. This is my rudimentary lens at the importance , however I do have a 50mm 1.8 prime as a inessential. This lens has a wholesome preponderance and gain bod calibre. 12mm is a fine considerable aspect with which you can do some dazzling compositions. There are a three of things to be fussy...

I scantiness to get a not on target slant lens, and it looks like the Sigma and Tokina are the two brands to elect from...Of no doubt, I'm talking about the brands I can in trouble with...Anyone can give me admonish about which one would be the most desirable for the specie?...I'm good an second-rate who loves to take pictures, mostly when traveling to spaces like Outstanding Gill, Yosemite, Marker Valley, etc.. i had the same controversy. I was looking at the canon 10-22, tokina 12-24, sigma and the tamron 10-22. I in actuality ended up with the tamron. The rate was gentle, at 499 at my resident workshop and in point of fact seeing them side by side and snapping off some pictures with each lens quite helped. I wanted the canon, but the 780 price tag was a bit much. I went to the only 2 movables shops in hamlet and both recommended the tamron. I have heard both reliable and bad about that lens, but the event that it also comes with a lens hood and has a 6 year industrialist's guarantee, if i have any problems with it, i can send it back. So far it's been at the end of the day sharp and indeed fun to use! Adept stroke of luck!

Where can I find a list of older Sigma/Tamron/Tokina lenses that will fit on my Nikon N75 film camera?

Q: Am having agitation finding lenses that will work on my Nikon N75 film camera. Bought a redolent Sigma 28-300 lens on ebay last week and when I got it, it wouldn't business on my camera. Also don't understand all those letters they put on the lenses. They mean different things on conflicting brand lenses.
The Sigma 28-300 I bought last week was an F mount lens. Yes it fit the camera but the camera didn't do homage the lens. Said there was no CPU in the lens.

tokina lenses witch fuji cameras do they fit?

    Q:

A: The Fuji S3 and S5 use the Nikon F mount. Any Tokina for Nikon should toil.

Is there a significant difference between Canon lenses and other 3rd party lenses (Tamron, Sigma, Tokina, etc)?

Q: I want to get a new lens to go along with my Disobey XSi. I have shot with the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens and it works very well. I have never rifleman with the Canon 70-200 f/2.8L lens but have researched it and am in the light of that as my new lens. I would obviously prefer to spend less but my real doubt is if there is a significant or noticeable difference between the two manufactures, or if the $600 extra bonus tag is just for the name.

Also, I know that these lenses aren't beginner lenses like my camera is, but I plot on upgrading to a 50D at some point.

    A: Yes

Markedly when it comes to using them on Canon EOS cameras -- as firmware is introduced, many of the generic lenses will have to be returned to the generic maker for an upgrade ... at the owners expense.

You are not buying "hardly the name" You are buying performance and a lens that will last for decades.
