    Crush used on long Tele lenses- not for mid-tele or less...
    This by-product works well at the 200mm end of a telephoto zoom lens (>2x mag)however at 50mm the increase in magnification is give 1.2x (maybe a 20% increase) which is not worth the chromatic aberration this lens introduces. If you are viewpoint of using this on a DSLR I would only buy it if you are using it at 400mm equivalent or greater. If you're using it on a compact/ultrazoom you'll be satisfied.
    When used on a 100mm equivalent Macro lens there is little perceivable effect other than the appendix of chromatic aberration in high contrast areas.

    At high magnifications be prepared to joust C.A. via software, use a tripod and perhaps a focusing rail.

    If you can't afford a real Macro lens but already have telephoto wherewithal this is for you.
    Glaring purchase!
    It's sticky and takes some getting used to, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. It goes on quick and it's very secure. It fits unmistakeably on the 20x zoom of my point & shoot Canon SX10IS. I'm very happy with my purchase!
    Terrifying piece of glass
    Though systematic to use, the Raynox is amazing. It actually turns your telephoto lens into a micro lens and if you already have a micro lens, it lets you get even quicker, about twice as closer as usual. As the instructions say, you cannot use flash with this as it will create vignetting. But nonetheless this is awesome. Your camera will shoot crystal clear shots of the subject with no loss of quality at all. A definite must buy.
    Yeah Pet! Great lens!
    Distinguished service. This lens is sooo cool. Works just the way it's suppose to. Yes...yes...yes!
    Extreme lens for a great price
    I fondness macro photography, and was excited to start messing with my T1i and this conversion lens. It fits stupendous on my 3 lenses, and has very clear shots. Plan on using this a lot this spring as things start to bloom.

    Raynox Widespread Angle Lens Review
    I recently purchased an Aiptek Exertion HD GVS I use to video my fishing adventures on the river with. One of my fellow kayakers suggested I purchase this lens to connect to my camera so it would give me a better field of view on my videos. It easily clips to the camera lens area and gives a sufficient focused picture. You do however have to set your camera to "Macro Mode". No zooming allowed. It would be nice if it had a shelter strap connection so if the lens gets knocked off, it doesn't fall to the ground of in the invalid. I'm very satisfied with my purchase though!

    A Property Item!
    A high-minded Fisheye effect. Ive had one for over 2 years and still use it. Cannot use with any zoom however.
    Able Converter Lens
    This is a very morality, inexpensive fisheye lens we bought for our digital camcorder. It just snaps on in a subordinate and produces a great range of vision. Very happy with this purchase.
    Raynox QC-303 0.3x Split On Wide Angle Lens f/27-37mm lenses Review
    It's a worth lens. It provides a wide angle and is one of the cheapest fisheyes around, it fits any camera from 27mm to 37mm thread area. The snap on feature is alright, but the fisheye can fall off easily because the snap on doesnt hold up it on too well. Overall it's a good lens if you want something cheap.

    Decorous value for the money
    The pros overbalance the cons and make this a good value for the money.

    Pros = Good image grandeur, inexpensive, very lightweight (especially compared to Canon zoom lens), comes with shadow hood.

    Cons = Adapters, and more importantly the threads of them, are made of plastic so long-term robustness is questionable.

    However, I accidentally dropped the lens from 5 feet onto concrete and it didn't get a scratch, so it is unreservedly durable.
    You will beloved this lens
    This is a outstanding add-on for anyone that wants more reach with their point-and-shoot and doesn't want to step up to a dslr. I bought it to use with my Panasonic Lumix FZ8 and the results are astounding. Before I bought it I had narrowed the field down to the Panasonic teleconverter and the Raynox. I went with the Raynox because (1) it was about $30 cheaper (2) no supplementary adapter was needed (for the Panasonic I needed a $25 adapter) (3) it is threaded to receive filters (not so for the Panasonic) (4) 2.2x as opposed to 1.7x for the Panasonic. I've read some reviews with complaints about vignetting and redden distortion, but I have not seen anything of the sort. I mainly do bird photography and I was able to get clear, abundance hand-held shots. Comes with an assortment of adapter rings, front and rear caps, padded storage bag, and hood. The only pygmy complaint is that it is a bit difficult to screw it on.
    Raynox 2.2x Telephoto Lens adapter
    I old this product with a Tamron 18-250mm lens, which is 62mm in diameter and should work with this product. The vignetting was ruthless unless the object was very far away and the lens was zoomed all the way out. At this distance, the subject (I tried this with considerable wading birds, such as great egrets) did not fill the frame even with the 2x converter. And there was still vignetting. Plus, the importance was not very good. Given all of those negative points, the product is not worth using. Perhaps it would work gambler with another lens. I would recommend a rear teleconverter instead. The only reason I didn't buy one of those is that they're not recommended with my lens.
    2.2x Telephoto Lens
    This lens is a extraordinarily great addition to my camera, the Canon G9. I can now add an addition 2.2x zoom on my already 6x optical zoom allowing me to collar scenes clearly that would've normally been out of reach. It comes with a bag, lens covers and a sun shield. I did have to buy an new accessory to allow it to connect to my camera but other than that, this lens has a great assembly and is easy to put together and adapt for your camera. Unequivocally suggested that you buy a tripod if you don't have one yet as the most minute shaking will make your pictures blurry but that's to be expected with extremely zoom. This lens best works on a manual mode for you to manipulate the focal site of your picture, sometimes the automatic focus gets confused looking through it.
    Allowable to go
    Works big....pictures are sharp and it really brings them up close. Just be careful treading it to your camera....balmy treads want to cross thread very easily, but that would be true of any ad on lense.

    Raynox DCR-250 Super Macro Conversion Lens Review

    As a unspecific teaching, this is how you settle upon your Raynox wonderful macro release lenses:

    Reynox MSN-505 : If you are using a compendious camera with a insufficient briefly lens, like the Panasonic LX3, this is the recovery lens for you. If you own a camera with an 18x visual zoom and above, this is not the lens for you because there will be a monster aggrandizement of the case to the purport of being microscopic. Which is okay, if being microscopic is your disinterested.

    Raynox MSN-202 : This is also seemly for cameras with bluff lenses like the LX3.

    New Raynox 3x Teleconverter - The Digital Video Information Network

    Looking specifically to mount on Sony's A1 HDV cam, but any live with any cam is respected. It seems most of the threads I look over on Raynox are non-specifically assertive. My copy is it's not surely zoom-thru, but for such ultimate telephoto, I am philosophical I fitting won't perceive that as I have the Sony 2x and large dodge distressful the camera to ward wriggle. Advance cam is not a odds. What are you using the footage for? If it is to taking m moments or some other nice of "fun" footage that is one reaction. If this is for "pro" use you will have to study it and see if it is usable. FWIW I've tried several 2X tele-converters on a Sony A1, including Schneider optics, and have been unimpressed with the results. YMMV. I have written this numerous times. The duplex are threeplex will assuredly soften you images. While they are not to bad on the front end of the telephoto, the embodiment degrades as you reach out further. If you do not do not forget that then have at it, but if you are expectations actual clearity then that would not be the outdo sponsor. as peter said, for fun make a pig, OK. I already have the Sony 2x, found the effigy seemed satisfying as extended as the legs were roll weighty and stabilization was off. However a signal amount of my 2x video has some blurring due to tripod stirring up so sounds like the predominance ought to be elevate surpass legs, then assess how much blurring was from the legs or the doubler. I principled fake the former. I have written this numerous times. The duplex are threeplex will assuredly soften you images. While they are not to bad on the front end of the telephoto, the notion degrades as you reach out further. If you do not be troubled that then have at it, but if you are missing true clearity then that would not be the defeat correlate with talk back to a be accountable. as peter said, for fun material, OK. Hey Dell, I was reading you position. I have all Sony cams, and was theory of getting a 2x Crashing tele from BHPHOTO, since I can't fee the lens anywhere. My chuck is a appearances,...

    Raynox HDP-6000EX HD Wideangle converter - The Digital Video ...

    I cogitation I had presume from something about the Sony WA not working so I did some read-through - the Sony VCL-HG0872 does not fit the Z7. Same cord area but the motif isn't preoccupied enough. The (idealistic) salesman I spoke said "..it works striking, it merely keeps falling off.." Crack-brained Sony. So the Raynox remains the only zoom through choice I skilled in of. It's in actuality lighter than the Sony, although it doesn't look it. I might get one if I can find a ample valuation. Will dispatch back if I do.

    Has anyone heard of/or used Raynox lenses with Digital Cameras?

    Q: I have a Sony Cybershot DSC H5 camera and am pensive about getting a Raynox telephoto lens and wide angle lens for it. Any viewpoint on these lenses?

    A: Hello, I have the Canon S3 IS digital camera. I use four Raynox lenses:

    - DCR-1540PRO (1.54X telephoto); no squandered of light and high definition;
    - DCR-6600PRO (0.66X as much as possible angle) no distortion and sharp image;
    - Microscopic lens Working model M-150 2X;
    - Microscopic lens Model M-250 4X.

    They propose the best quality for a reasonable price.

    Raynox dcr-5000(RT5245VW) lens to fit on canon g7 camera? I can't find an proper adapter. Please help.?

    Q:

    Can the Canon G10 also take wide angle/fisheye lenses?

    Q: I recognize there is a teleconverter you can get for this camera while using the conversion lens adaptor LA-DC58K. That adaptor has a 58mm motif size. I have a Raynox 58mm fisheye but I'm wondering if this would work with the G10. I'm not to unflinching if it will focus right or not. Anyone have experiences with something like this? Just outline me what you think please.

    A: To get the full fisheye efficacy you need the lens close to the sensor, putting a major angle adapter onto the end of an existing lens wont do it without a lot of vignetting, like a discoid image on the sensor instead of the usual rectangular one.

    Notice the Raynox placement doesn't claim 180° field of view, it says 180° across the diagonal which is not the same article at all. It also says that it broadens the view by 37%, the widest scenery on the G10 is 28mm doing the maths 37% of 28mm equals = 10.36mm, 28 - 10.36 = 17.64mm. So the adapter will perform as serve as your lens in effect a 17.64mm hardly fisheye.

    10mm is reckoned to be fair for a 180° field of view, the real Fisheye intention, but that's with a 35mm sensor, your smaller sensor is in effect cropping the nave of the image so it won't be as wide an angle, for 180° you would need a 7 or 8mm centralized length.

    As you already have the adapter, why not just try it? You don't need the adapter for a testy trial, just hold the Raynox Fisheye lens the meanwhile in position, it won't be perfect, but it will show what results you can expect.

    I think you have asked this pump before, the only way I know to get a true fisheye effect is with a DSLR and Fisheye lens. Adding microscope spectacles to the front of a lens will never improve it, it can only degrade the image.
