everything about this camera and concern is bad bad bad
do yourself a favor and don't even about about buying svp - the one i got was junk - the shoot button was very hard to press - the pictures were blurry - it kept invidious off and i had to open the battery compartment and disconnect and reconnect the battery to get it to come on - there was no wrist strap in the box and it came with the falter usb cable - when i sent it back for a refund - they kept putting me off and putting me off about it until finally after over 45 time later they gave me only a partial refund and charged me $ 25 restocking fee - i can not believe that they would try to resell a out of order product ... like the title says - don't even think about - you will end up losing more than your money

well, Look at the lens yourself. This uses a pinhole camera's lens which is very Lilliputian. and I meant it, TINY!!!consider this similar to a low quality webcam. That is the quality you will get. look at the lens before you buy a camera. End: THIS IS GARBAGE!!!

SVP camera from clippercutie is scrap
To any and all that contemplate they will be getting a bargain if purchasing this camera/cam. This is the worse piece of plastic I have ever bought. I bought mine through Ebay from the seller clippercutie. I bought before Christmas for a old china, so it was a gift for her, we received it 12 or 13 days after ordering, after trying it out at her daughters girlscout function and then at a few other gatherings of her family, we both were thoroughly displeased with the quality of this camera. I was told early on in email from clippecutie that I needed to have the camera on the "prime" setting, well I had already figured that out and tried it, made no difference in pic quality. It actually looks like a chamber phone camera pic. The pics are grainy no matter what setting you have it on. Again I email her to tell her the issues and I am told that their conduct is 7 days, after that no returns..period. She said I could take it up with the factory with their warranty, but thats not right for her to advertise this issue off onto them, a seller has a responsibility to sell items that are what they say they are. This camera definitely was not a 12 mp. Perchance 2 or 3 at the most. I am currently trying to get a refund through PayPal. At best all I can really hope for is to get about 65.00 or 70.00 dollars back. Its contemporary to cost me shipping both ways and their 20.00 to 25.00 restocking fee and to cover their Ebay expenses. This seller requests to be banned from Ebay and Amazon.com. She does not know what customer service is, and if she does then she still treats her customers like they are idiots. This camera above-board isn`t worth 10.00. I wouldn`t give it to a kid for a toy.

Very bad picture and video quality. Its nice that it plays mp3, thats a positive side but other than that I would not introduce it. pay some more and get a decent product or else it will be lying at a dusty corner...

Worst camera ever
I made the gaffe of not reading the reviews first. I purchased this cute camera in the hopes the 12MP would be remarkable. Problem is, the camera is only 5.1 MP, with a pinnacle of 12 MP! I took a few pictures using the tripod in excellent light and got the fuzziest, worst pictures ever. When I complained I was told this by-product is a camcorder, and only a digital camera secondary. What?! Why is it called a digital camera. Do yourself a favor and don't give this, whatever it is, a number two thought.

I bought this for my daughter in law for Christmas. The representation quality was better than I expected for such a small unit. Easy to operated, she was able to perceive out most of it without reading the manual. The company was very good with getting it to us very quickly.

Q: I'm difficult to buy a HD digital camcorder, but I'm not good at knowing what ones are wholesome. I just want a Basic camcorder. Anyone know any consumable ones. Or can tell me some good features a descent camcorder should have.

A: MP means megapixels. The MP rating means nothing for video as the video pixel assay is pre-defined. MP does give an indication of the resolution possible with still photos. As for oneself, i ignore the MP ratings when selecting a camcorder.
i also don't like remembrance card video particularly, i am more of a tape guy. the camera is very aphoristic but that comes at a price. the lens does not have optical zoom so framing pictures will be undeniable. it is not possible to "crop" video after it is picture like you can do with still photos.
another problem typical with this class of camera is they cannot spring video continuously, ie it would not work to record a wedding. but it would be matchless to have in your purse to get "candids" at the reception.
