Kids video recorder
I bought this for my boyfriends son for his tenth birthday. He loves it! Its whole for a kid if you want an inexpensive video camera for them to play around with. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the memory press card that comes with it runs out of memory VERY fast, so you need to buy a bigger card to go with the camera. but isnt that the same with all cameras? Very minute present for a child!

Kids admiration this camera
I bought these as Christmas gifts for my 8 year old nephew and 9 year old niece. They decidedly loved them and have been making movies with them since.

Stupefying Camera For The Price
I picked up this camera the other day and was incredibly surprised by how wonderful it was for such a low price!
It has shoots really nice HD footage, my only criticism is when you zoom in a great grapple with it slightly lags in picture...
But overall the picture and for the price its great, maybe exactly don't use the zoom feature like crazy and your golden.

Dainty little camcorder!
Accomplished quality HD video and pics from this little camcorder. I'd seen this on QVC but at a much higher price and was exultant to get it cheaper and with free shipping! I like the simple intuitive menu and buttons. The camera is so pocket-sized it fits into my pocket. My daughter loved taking HD videos all through our trip last week!

Rigorous At-Home Camera
I liked this camera for how lightweight and pocket-sized it is. The video quality was okay, but it's microphone couldn't pick up sound very well when the source was more than 10 feet somewhere else, which could be frustrating at times. It also picks up every little sound of your hand movement. I enjoyed being qualified to bring it wherever and capture random moments that I am now able to look back on.
The camera's memory isn't very big, so I had to continually move the video onto my computer. it also used up batteries FAST, and they got expensive if i used the camera frequently. playback can be irritating, since you have to select each clip that you want to view, rather than how my parents' camera is: when you press play it plays all the clips in a row like one hanker video.
After i had this camera about 4 months, it started not turning on sometimes, and then turning on other times. I've had it for 5 months now, and it won't spin on at all. though this could have been my fault; i've brought this thing everywhere so it's possible i banged it up a bit unknowingly.
if you are looking for a small camera to take with you spaces that a larger camcorder wouldn't work so well, you can try this one if you like. for a long-lasting family video camera, i would keep looking.

A awful value for the money
We bought one of these this slope. I had wanted a camera that I could use at work and carry with me everywhere. It is basically a Flip Video camera opposition but takes HD video for a lower price. No internal memory but 1 gig SD cards are going for $7.99 in some seating around where I live. I bought 2 two gig cards for $15 which gives me a couple of hours of recording occasionally.
As a PC user, I needed to download a QuickTime to AVI converter so Microsoft Movie Maker could drift the video (yeah, Movie Maker software is horrible). You can do this with the free Rad Video Tools. Another selection is to upgrade to a decent video editing program. I prefer Movie Magix 12 which you can securing for as low as $20 and it can read the files natively and handle HD video (download free grief here)
It isn't perfect and it is uses a lot of batteries. It came with some nickel cadmium batteries and a charger (warm bonus!) but I find during the holidays I keep several extra around. You can get 40 Maxell batteries at for $10 which made for a good deadlock.
It won't replace my DV Camera but it is great for taking to the lake, to the park, or just having around my kids

Moviepix 8MP DV-80 vs. Insignia 5MP NS-DCC5SR09 Camcorders?
Q: I am wondering which of these two is the heartier camcorder I dont have much money so my options are these two so if anyone can tell me which has better video nobility it would be much appreciated i know neither will be spectacular but I would like to know what is beat if you have a link to video shot with either one that would also be really good for juxtaposing (just post a link to the vid) im having a hard experience deciding the Insignia one has some better features like icon stabilization and nigh modes etc but I cant find how many fps it has and the Moviepix has a webcam but not much else any help here would be in actuality nice especially if you have tried both or have a link to vids made with either or both and all other thoughts, reviews and opinions are very greeting

A: In my id, the Moviepix camera is not a good deal. For one thing, I do not like the SD index card camcorders. They are fine for beginners, but typically have bad video quality. I also found a control superiors deal for the same camcorder on ebay. I have never heard of this camcorder, and seems to be a no-name label, but of course, I could be mistaken. Looking at the camcorder, I can almost guarantee that it is not well made. However, if you in point of fact like this camcorder, Go for it!
I advise you to spend a bit more money for a superior quality camcorder- preferably a miniDV cassette camcorder for acquiescent editing. I recommend shopping at www.bhphotovideo.com. Ebay is also a important place to find an excellent camcorder at a cheap price- solely make sure they work...Hope that helps!
