    Superior LITTLE Camcorder!
I adulation this camcorder! It is very small - compared to the JVC Mini DV Camcorder that I've used for the last 10 years. I wanted JVC again since my old camcorder still works well, but was looking to downsize and get to a different place from the tapes. The hard drive on this cam. stores over 19 hours of video - which is more than sufficient, and allows for bountifulness of time to download before you need to clear the memory. I charged it immediately out of the box and about 2 hours later was recording my kids in the yard. The next day, I downloaded the software and burned a DVD which plays on my DVD sportswoman (not just the computer!)

The battery life is somewhat short - about 40 minutes of actual recording while, however I usually purchase an extra battery for backup (so one can be charging while the others in use or to take both out an a long adventure) and they do have a three of extended life batteries available. Not to mention the great price Amazon had on the camcorder! MUCH less than the MSRP :) I had been looking at the JVC moment drive models, but when I figured in the cost of purchasing 2 16GB SD cards - this model came out to be more charge effective and whith more recording time.
    As expected
The camera indoors exactly as I was told, on time and great shape. The camera is really light and gentle to use. I love the great zoom and it has a good video quality for the price I am paying. I recognize that I can get better video quality with a different model, but the prices increase exponentially.
    JVC GZ-MG750
This seems undemanding to work, just had a hard time finding out how to burn to a CD or DVD.
    mobile life short
I like the camera for the the gen that I can upload videos I record with ease. What I don't like about it is that the battery life is too short. I would buy supernumerary batteries but they are too expensive.
    accurately what I wanted
I did a honourable amount of research and found this camera to be the perfect father's day gift for my husband. It is small enough to conveniently take most sitting room, yet gives a great picture and has uber-amounts of memory. Easy to upload to computer and then portion videos via email. Only downside... need a dvd burner to actually record to a disc, which most residents probably have on their computer, we obviously do not (making it the downside).

    tolerant to use and understand.....
bought this camera for the "prematurely lapse" option... wanted to get on-line but wanted it now/so I paid twenty two buck more plus tax at a most skilfully store. the camera performs wonderful! there are no "laser" buttons/everything works from the zoom and menu handle-very easy to use and understand. the night capibilities are great. filmed my dog across the yard at 11:30pm with only the neighbors porch gaslight on and no street lights. the video came out perfect! I was amazed!I have a 2 year old JVC w/30g memory..this gz-ms110 is 1/3 the greatness and weighs ounce's!the zoom is awesome. I was able to zoom the moon and see craters/but a tripod would have made a beat video for steady-ness....I would have given this 5 stars/but the thing that stopped that was...due to it being so scanty/which I love/but due to the size and my large hands it is slightly difficult to press the record handle when the camera is in my hand with the strap on my hand comfortably, the strap could be larger and perhaps this would make it more relaxing/but the price, the quality, the options, the zoom, the smallness, and the years of experiance jvc has, this is a great camera! I like it improve than my new samsung smx-f40 I accendently bought and will now be a gift.....
Not word for word a "new and improved" version of the MS120
I've reasonable received my JVC MS110. I was looking at the MS120 about 6 weeks ago, but saw this newer version was coming out, so I pre-ordered it for $229. At the formerly the MS120 was selling on Amazon for $209. Before I received the MS110 (but after it shipped) Amazon was selling the MS110 for $207, and the MS120 for $260!
I did some examine on them before I bought, but unfortunately missed the following differences:

    1. The MS110 doesn't take still pictures.
    2. It doesn't have the MS120's drain threads, needed to add a wide-angle lens.
    3. Unlike the MS120, it doesn't completion the lens protector when you close the LCD to shut off the camera. You have to locate and move a lever on the side. A small call attention to, yes, but its seems like they had to go out the their way to remove this feature.

    Pros
    -It has a great 45x(or more)zoom lens.
-It comes with circumstance-lapse recording and a motion detection-record feature.
-Low-light capability is safe. Whatever you can see in dim light it can record.
-Using an SD card, it has a rapid start-up to catch those sudden photo opportunities.
-Lightweight at 7.6oz, including battery-operated (weighed on my postal scale).

    Cons
    -The previously mentioned "missing" features.
-The slowest every now lapse setting is still pretty fast, with each minute zipping by in 2 seconds.
-It is too small for its side-strap configuration. This makes it nit-picking to hold easily, my hand is in awkward positions and cramps-up trying to curve my fingers over the top.
-The video played back on my HDTV looked rotten. It looked better played back on a computer, using either the supplied software or Windows (Vista) Media Speculator. Still, using the "ultrafine" setting, the computer playback was not as good as watching old standard TV. More like watching a VHS record, for those who remember VHS. Comparing the monitor image to the camera LCD, there was only slightly more detail noticable on my 20" protect than I could make out on the small LCD.
-Outdoors on a sunny day the LCD washes out, even with brightness set on max. You will still get a vague image to pirate you point your camera, but no real detail until you play it back.

The reason I gave it three stars is because it was relatively twopenny and, as they say, you get what you pay for. I'm thinking I might trade this in for an HD model.

No a bad access HD camcorder.
      Very simple to use.
Point and shoot out of the box.

Uploading to my mac is very simple.
23 min gap might be annoying to most but easily
      fix during leg production.

Time laps is great. Something I look for in a camera.

Chosen this camera because of the Minolta Lens.
Also my Lensbaby Tele and To one side angle attachment fits perfectly.

Generally I would use my DSLR for all still shots.
So took some snaps and the pictures where unbelievably good in daylight.
At night it gets grainy. With the spot meter you have to be dead
on in the selected zone or everything flushes out.
I imagine what's missing is a manual aperture setting.
      Then both will be resolved.

Not the best camera I've shot with but it's pint-sized and great for on the go cam.

Whit the camera it's OK, but the version software is very poor. I ask JVC about other software, but, from JVC Brazil they only said that's an imported product and, from USA JVC, I don't have any answer.
I try the software Vegas from Sony but it don't pay respect the camera. Now I pretend try the Pinnacle. Can someone help me?
      Marvellous HD Quality
This camcorder is a replacement to a Sony DVD camcorder I had a few years ago. The supremacy difference is amazing. The quality inside is good in a well lit room and only average in a poorly lit elbow-room but that is typical with any camcorder under 1000. The outside quality is amazing, it really blows me in another place on DVD I made using the XP recording format. UXP is the best quality but XP is the best you can burn to a DVD. It looks almost blu ray disk distinction, it will really blow you away. This is my 4th camcorder and the software included is actually not bad, if all you want to do contrive simple dvd's with it. It user friendly and has a few nice options, more advanced users will need to pick up speculator software but it is better than the basic software I have ever recived with any of my previous sony camcorders. You can even record in UXP composition and have it converted just for burning to dvd purposes to xp format, that way you still have it in the best quality incase you ever get a Blu Ray burner which is also supported by this software by the way. I got this from Amazon for only $369, that is a remarkable deal.
GZHD500 (accomplished if you find it for $400 or less)
      Cons:
Any photo instantaneously (it is have 2 Megapixels) inside is extremely grainy, even in the daytime.

Recording longer than 23 minutes it is breaks into 23 twinkling of an eye segments.

Its a good camera if you are using it outdoors. This cannot be used
in doors, even with bright lights. The video is brown and granny.

The "laser touch" feature looks cool, but actually using it is ghastly. It's really nothing more than an up / down slider that glows blue, and is terribly inaccurate.

Not have light, no remote conduct.

      The battery life is poor.

Not have a menu setting to get out the words in the display.

The snapshot and zoom buttons are a pygmy uncomfortable.

      The software is very poor.

      Pros:
Full HD 1920x1080 Recording videos (casing only)
HDMI out put port is 1080p.
      HDMI® (V.1.3 with x.v.Color(tm))
      24Mbps High-class Bit Rate Recording
      Advanced Image Stabilizer
      20x optical zoom.

This is a outgoing and feature rich camcorder. The seller has delivered the product as he promised.

    Superb camcorder, easy to use
Our first camcorder, frenzy really nicely in hand, extremely easy to use and makes great movies - untroubled is great too. Still image quality is far from today's average digital camera, but that's not why we bought a camcorder.
    Very disapointing
Slug video and stills under all lighting conditions - Even in bright sunlight the picture on computer monitor is extremly grainy. Indoors is way worse. I didn't try it on the TV, but took it back to the put by the next day. Might be OK for you-tube, but not for saving memories of the kids or grandkids.
    Hairy camcorder for the price.
This is a sufficient camcorder for the price. Nice that it has internal memory and the video quality is pretty accomplished. Easy to work.
    JVC won't publish my review
I got this cam from Dell I want I would have went to Amazon. At least they would have taken care of me. First this cam is not a 1 lux as advertised on Dell, it is a 3 lux. It will shoot on low light , but as other JVC products the colors are washed out. If you try to reconcile the color (I am using Corel video studio pro) you get a very pixelated video. If Dell would have advertised this cam fairly I would have not purchased it. If you don't care about color quality buy it if you want a decent looking video impede away from it unless you have a very strong video light.

Tranquilly to use and clear picture quality
I purchased this camcorder in November of 2009. I ordered this effect in red. It is very easy to use and the picture quality is very clear. The strap on the side is a bit small if you have larger hands, or eat one's heart out fingers. It is very sturdy as I have dropped it twice and it has not even scratched! Transferring your videos onto your computer is very easy as well. Blanket a well made product.
Still pictures come out a bit blurry.

    Material product for the price
Appropriate camcorder. Easy to use and stores videos on SD cards. Memory is expandable. Decent distinction videos. The cam is pretty small, so people with big hands might face difficulty in handling it.
    idle
It de facto shouldn't be difficult. Engineer a camera that saves video files in a format that can be cheerfully copied and pasted so that they can be read by any computer. Instead, JVC locks you in to their proprietary video format that is in point of fact only good at doing one thing - showing the video on the camera's viewscreen. So much about this camera seems well. Awesome zoom. Dual SD card slots, reasonable price, etc. etc. But thats all well and wares until you actually try to work with the video you've shot. A typical over-engineered piece of junk that assumes all consumers are stupid and won't want to use anything but its own specialized computer software. The geniuses at JVC must be so embarrassed by the junk processing software that it isn't (A) inhabitant on the camera so when sharing with other computers it can be loaded, (B) downloadable off their website, (C) barely acknowledged as even existing on their website. Do yourself a favor and don't get wowed by the specs or the cost out. If you can't use the video you've shot - what is the point of shooting it in the first place? Or buying a camera to shoot it with? Buy something excel.
    An Stunning Little Camera!
The first id I thought when I opened the box was - "Wow this thing's tiny!" It's packaged in a rather large box with a lot of padding. The ashamed size is great, though. It makes taking a video camera with you easier than ever!

As for ease of use, the Everio MS120 is espouse to none! In the first ten minutes of opening it, I took a couple of minutes to review the manual (failure to presume from the manual is the cause of most bad reviews for any technology item) and made sure that I knew what I was doing, to the point the battery, plugged in the power adapter, inserted my SD card, recorded a short video, took out the SD fated, put the SD card into my computer and watched the video - like I said - all in the first 10 minutes.

I'm not sure why residents had so much trouble (in reference to previous reviews). I should say that I'm an IT Professional, so technology is an everyday matter for me, but this camera is still easy for anyone to use.

One problem that people may have had is that they didn't use the included CD's to get the codec for the .MOD format (which is already built in to Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems), and it is in order that without this, you won't be able to work with the format for video editing or anything else.

The video quality is amazing, as well. It looks even haler on my computer and on DVD (I had a DVD all burned using Windows DVD maker within the first hour of opening the camera) than it did on the camera. Anyone with problems with nobility may have a problem with their settings or perhaps even their lens.

I would give this camera 5 stars any day!
    Talking picture Camera
It is very temperately to use, but very difficult to save movies to a disc. After working on it for 6 hrs, still have not figured it out, not sure what to do next.

JVC GZ-HM400 HD Camcorder: Like the Slo Mo Everio X, With Better ...

We tenderness about concupiscence on a situation about this new JVC camcorder since its specs don't state much of an upgrade from past cams , but the 1080p, slowmo expert auto has raise stabilization, instructions rudder and full bitrate AVCHD recording.

Those are indulgent upgrades, I'll give you that. At first twinkle, the camera sounds suspiciously like the Everio X , but I unfaltering to pile anyhow. The camera has 32GB of internal honour and an SD/SDHC pigeon-hole. Stupid submission is doable at 600fps, albeit at a side-splitting solving of 640x72 (yes, seventy two) pixels. It shoots at 300fps at a slightly less filmstrip-like res but the 120fps procedure at 480x270 pixels is anywhere cramped to all right.

The HM400 also has 9 and 5.3MP still modes without interpolation, and captures its 1080p video at the AVCHD form's pinnacle bitrate of 24mbps. Window-pane has been upgraded here to use two prisms for visual stabilization. And the camera has new instructions wheel that put the camera into space and shutter preference modes. It goes for $1000 to a consumer who hasn't been seduced by a Freak HD and still wishes valid zoom and twin grandeur. [ JVC ]
