Easy on the eyes good little camera
As others have said, this camera uses batteries fair quick. We have taken pictures and used the video on the beach. I download everything as soon as I can from the video in the offing so that I don't lose anything. Takes a pretty good picture and the videos are pretty clear too.

Excessive but hoping it lasts
I bought this for my nephew and he won't put it down. It's very consumer-friendly...he figured it all out without any guidance. Unfortunately the first one died within a couple of months so this is the replacement.

Assuredly the BEST gift for a 6 year old!
I lucked out and found this camera on Woot one day, got the id for $18 plus s/h paid UNDER $23! I read and watched a few reviews, figured it was value it, but NEVER expected it to be as great as it is! I'd pay $30 for this camera if I had to.
My daughter got this from Santa and never put it down. After her uncles showed her how to novelty the little dial to adjust between taking still shots, video, or looking over what you've saved/how to remove....it became the number 1 toy! It takes 2 simple AA batteries and once the kid learns how to delete things to "reuse" the intermission on the camera memory, it will last for hours of fun. She goes around taking pix of her little stuffed animals, her cat, the carbon copy on the wall, now she likes to video us sitting around, or even what cartoon she's watching on TV. I let her take it to the park, and since she travels a LOT she now takes it in the car and video tapes things on the side of the street. It's VERY easy to use, small and perfect for their little hands, you can download the pictures/videos to your computer to redeem or make into the little movies (the software comes with it) and she enjoys switching out the faceplates from Hanna to HSM or Pirates every so often. Of indubitably it doesn't have the best zoom feature, great for within 20-40 feet I suppose. You won't take it to your kids dally with for video unless you are lucky enough to sit very close to the stage, but it takes great shots and is fun to use.
I upstanding broke down and bought her a 2GB SD card for extra storage so she doesn't have to delete a couple of her liking videos she's recorded. I'd suggest splurging on the extra $12 for the SD card, it's a LOT more room and will to be sure keep your little "director" happy for endless hours.
I have never been so impressed with the price and ease, and features of a knack and have never seen my daughter get so excited and use something so endlessly, and this is a kid that's pretty easy to shop for but has almost everything.
Any kid will love to conduct oneself with this....and most adults will use it too!

Never familiar..too complicated
Not a techy...assume from directions and it is still on the shelf..looked like it would take up a lot of space on my laptop to use..waste of my money..get what you pay for.....

morality for a 8 year old
I got this for my 8 year old son and he is enjoying prepossessing pictures and making little movies. I wanted something for him to use without paying alot. I think this camcorder is full for him to practice with. I have not hooked the camcorder up with the computer for him to see his recording yet so I hope everything looks okay when we do. But he is having so much fun now with it. The one item I don't like is the camcorder does not fit well with the tripod.

Pretty but wouldn't turn on
Bought this video camera for my granddaughter for her birthday. It was very cunning and arrived quickly and in great packaging. However, it wouldn't turn on, no matter what we tried. I ended up thriving to a local store and buying an inexpensive adult camcorder for her instead, and shipped this one back. Returning it was very fast and easy. I was really disappointed that this one didn't work, and I ended up spending more than I extraordinarily wanted to because I didn't want her to have to do without, since it was given to her on her birthday.

Camera Doesn't Exertion
After three existence and a couple AA battery changes (camera does not have rechargeable battery), the video camera just stopped working. Also, the mini tripod that came with it could not be attached because the threads in the camera didn't elongate to allow the tripod piece to grip the camera. Pretty worthless accessory. My son was indeed excited, making movies for a couple days. Unfortunately, it worked fine the first few duration, so I didn't bother to keep the box, and now I can't return it (my own fault)! I would NOT recommend buying this video camera. It was a pure waste of money. Spend more money and get a real video camera that will actually last. I need I had. It's made of plastic, which probably wouldn't be very durable, anyway. I deeply regret buying this product. With the addition of, I never received one of the data cards I ordered to go with it. I'm very disappointed with the whole experience.

It's Imposing!!!
I bought this camera for my daughter's birthday. It took a while to learn all it's features. After scholarship them, it's great! The graphics, text, and music you can include on the pictures and video make it well value the price. I might want one myself! (it's very cute). I give it 4 stars because it takes pretty good pictures, however, it does not video very starkly. It's a great start for an 8-9 year old who just wants to have some fun! It is not for a serious or experienced video maker. My daughter who is 9, gives it 5 stars! She says "It's an alarming camera and I'm glad to have it!"

Leading for my 7 year old.
Bought this for my 7 year old. She loves it. It is mild to use and very portable. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because the picture is very grainy but works good as a child's first camera. Also the built in remembrance doesn't last long though you can pick up a SD memory card fairly cheap these days which is what we ended up doing. Films and takes pictures.

Incomparable for Ages 6 and up
I have 5 mope and have been using Disney electronics from Digital Blue and have been quite impressed. We have digital cameras, mix maxes and 3 of these video cameras. For the fist price it can't be beat. It is a fun thing to use when you have young girls who would otherwise be begging to use your expensive video camera. This is a grand alternative.

Heinous Camera!
We have had the camera for almost a year now. We got it for my son for his 5th birthday. He unquestionably loved being behind the camera, but we were always nervous with him being behind ours. We bout a different kid freidnly camera, but the quality was terrible. My son is a shockingly good photographer and takes amazing photos with this little camera. The only on one occasion we have the washout problem is when he's too close to what ever he is photographing, but I have the same problem with my camera. He loves being able to take pictures and see them on the computer and even have them printed out and put in a photo libretto.

Would've addicted it 5, except for that darn flash!
I indeed do love this camera, as does my 5 year old daughter. The battery life is amazing, the graphics are fun, it's wonderful easy to use. The only drawback is the brightness of the flash, which I had read about when I was researching this product. BUT, I came up with a uninvolved solution that almost fixes the problem. I just cut to size about 3 layers of scotch tape and put it preferable over the flash to tone it down a bit and it helped AND you don't even notice the tape is there. All in all, a great camera that any kid (and parent) would girlfriend.

My grandson loves it!
I scan many of the reviews for digital cameras for little ones on Amazon before purchasing, and I'm so glad I did. This camera is spotless for my three year old grandson. It has just enough buttons that it's challenging enough, but it's not overly complicated. He loves the actually that he can insert Goofy or Mickey or many other characters into the pictures of all of us.

uttermost toy ever!
Your stripling can throw this camera across the room..........if only adult cameras were so sturdy. The photos are a nobility quality, only limited by the talent (or lack thereof) of the child. Our 4-year old lit up like a Christmas tree when he opened this prize!

Active durable and easy to use for kids
My daughter legitimate turned three and was able to pick the camera up and start using it right away. The rubber handle around he camera makes it easy for her to hold onto the camera and use all the functions. She loves the ability to add letters to her shots of which Daddy is in quite a few shots with Mickey. She plays with it everyday. The download is very lucid for download to you computer. Bottom line is this is a great simple and fun to use KIDS camera. The only aspect my daughter did not like about the camera was it does not have a timer like Mommy and Daddy's so she doesn't have to hold the camera to take a illustration.

Don't buy this camera
This camera never worked. We took it out of the box, followed the directions and nothing. We've tried and tried to get it to trade, still nothing. Very disappointed pre-teen.

Don't emaciate your money
At this age, partially the fun of having a camera is instantly looking at the pictures you've taken. It's literally almost impossible to see the imagine on the extremely tiny display screen. The flash is horrible--no picture comes out without lots of gloominess that is if they even come out at all. Many are black. Yes it's a cheap camera but no kid could have fun with this at all what so ever. Do not buy it.

This camera does not take the outdo pictures and is extremely hard to see the image in the screen. My daughter is happy with it, but I wouldn't subscribe to it to others.

Hannah Montana Disney digital camera
I have to allow with the other reviewer. This camera is awful! Most images you can't even make out, even in broad daylight. I didn't wait for this to be a great camera, but my step daughter uses my Canon sometimes and does a pretty allowable job of taking photos, but it didn't matter where these photos were taken ... they were horrible. Don't nuisance buying it, we are going to return the one we got her.

Don't ebb your money
Camera is abominable. You can't even make out the image when you take a picture. It's not even worth taking the pictures. Was purchased at Toys R Us who won't even give aggregate credit with out a receipt. They don't stand behind their products. Awful camera! Don't buy it.
