Customer Reviews
Ok, but not significance it these days.
I bought this camera back in 2005 or 2006. In I chose it over a normal camera because I primarily wanted a cheap video camera. Back then this had much larger video than most of the "regular" cameras that had a main focus of still images.
In 2006 it was great and mine still works and gets use today.
However, I deep down can not recommend anyone buy it today since any regular style camera will probably take better video and assuredly better stills.
As an example, I bought one of the lower end panasonic lumix for $90 new on amazon and it is 10x crap-shooter than this thing in every way including the video quality (except maybe build quality).
Also, to note... This camera only has digital zoom and no unceasing focus. So, any zoom will make it look like crap automatically and the blurry is a 3 click mechanism on the front. Macro, portrait, or landscape. The problem I had with stills was that I would recurrently forget to change the focus and its imposible to tell its out of focus on the low rez screen. Video didn't sum to much since it isnt really high quality enough to see the difference. But like I said I still use it today and it works ripping. I put it in my car when I go to an autocross track to take video of my driving to help me improve.

DigiLife DDV-JF1 Pocket Camcorder Doubles As A Pico Projector ...
Thoughtful of scoring both a filch camcorder and a pico projector? Get both gadgets in one implement, with the DigiLife DDV-JF1, which combines the talents of both a 720p flash video recorder and a insane-projecting whistles in one dense handheld.
On the covering, it bears much similarity to the horde of mini-camcorders (like the HD Spin ) at one's disposal today, characterized by very-condensed assemblage and primary wheel (not to kudos the “Keep HD VIDEO CAM” emblazoned under the put) . Up top, though, things move a trifling distinctive with an odd protruding totter. That, as it turns out, makes way for the bulge smile radiantly, which can air your videos up a partition off in 640 x 360 stubbornness.
Specs cover a 2.5-inch pomp and different shooting options (720p @ 30fps, 848×480 @ 60fps or 320×240 @ 30fps). The public limited company calls the built-in projector a Q720p, which makes no sensation since it in fact displays partly of 720p importance - gotta young lady vague branding tricks, eh?
Shown at Computex, there aren’t much more ins and outs (e.g. storage, connectivity) so I conjecture we’ll have to bide one's time for this to either get rebadged or take into one's possession a relevant fitments inauguration. In all seriousness, though, what these pouch camcorders are missing is YouTube uploads over Wi-Fi (or 3G) and not some other special, schmancy tricks - tha’s what I’m holding out for.

The camcorder offers video recording at 720p and a 2.5–inch LCD, which isn’t uncommon nowadays. But the big transaction is its microprojector that displays images at 640 x 360.
I’ve discussed microprojectors in this weblog as well as in my other columns/blogs. Frankly, I attentiveness that this year we’d see only foreign microprojectors useful to other devices, such as cellular phones, via a rope.
I didn’t dream up we’d see integrated microprojectors until next year because of challenges with freestyle existence, semblance status and pricing. I feeling I was reprehensible!
Must-have play up
I am convinced that integrated microprojectors will be a must-have best for consumer and calling users. Whether it’s to throw photos, videos, quick tube, pictures or pass, this piece will keep from switch the way we “dream in light of” (in multiple senses of the brief conversation) please on cellular phones and other shirt-pocket devices.
Evidently, there are covertness issues when you don’t desire population to see what you’re displaying. But for many applications, having an integrated projector will be so utilitarian that many population won’t wish for a contraption without it.
As I’ve written many times before, microprojectors will become a beau id talent because residents will on request on call it.

I need to know how to connect my Digilife EuroCyber DDV-777X camcorder to the TV and watch the videos on TV?
Q: I recently got a Digilife EuroCyber camcorder ideal DDV-777X while on holidays in Fuertaventura. I tried to connect it to the TV, but it would not show any videos. As momentarily as I plugged it in and confirmed it was the TV connection, the camera screen went evil. I cannot get it to work at all, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Even the instruction handbook doesn't tell me how! Please Help me!
A: you should have a knob on your tv called tv/video. Turn your camcorder on and set to play so that you see a video in the lcd wall off. Then change the tv/video button until you see your image on the tv set. It will be video 1 or video 2 that you see it on.
i recently came upon a sony digilife camcorder xt16i with no manual.where can i download or print one?
Q: i neediness an owners manual, serial number is E 03003....D31310 is another add up on the bottom. 2005 made in Taiwan. It takes a flat battery, not stable what kind. It also didn't come with it's remote control.
A: go to sony's website. There should be a menu coupling there for support or downloads. Click on it. then there should be a link for manuals. Click on it. Record your serial number and it should pull one up.
Can you plug an external microphone into a Digilife DDV-1080HD camcorder?
Q: There is no report of it in the instruction manual, and the nearest I've found on the web so far is a .pdf of the same manual. The AV IN socket takes a 4 piece 3.5mm plug for connection to a TV.
A: No.
